The product arrived loosely in its box without any padding or protective plastic bags. It was 100% fine and undamaged, but I would prefer better protection for the contents and some padding so they are better protected in shipping.Inside the box is the led light and its base in two pieces, a short USB power cord, and instructions on a small piece of paper. It is simple to put together, just press the base into the bottom of the led light.Everything is plastic but the light itself feels well made. It works both with batteries and the USB cord. It looks very nice, and looks nicer if it is not in direct sunlight.Overall I like it quite a bit. The only thing I would improve is how it is packaged in the box, as the pieces were just in there moving around and not protected by any plastic bags or padding.

Very cool neon light. Just as pictured and described by seller. Lightweight yet stable, might be because of the 3 AA batteries we put in the base (batteries not included). The on/off switch is located on the bottom, so lift the base and turn it over. The lightning bolt when off is a nice white, and when lit puts off a really nice blue neon color. (in the picture I posted the light looks white, but it is indeed blue neon). We chose the blue because we wanted to put it with our hockey items. I believe it comes in other colors.This is the absolute perfect gift for an NHL Tampa Bay Lightning Fan.In addition to using batteries, you can charge the light with the included USB charger.And what a great price, certainly affordable.

This light packs so much punch for what it is, and I love that we have the option to plug it in via the included USB cable, or use AA batteries to power it. We opted for the batteries, and were delighted to see that the lamp is bright and vivid no matter what power source you use! I really like that the colours run into each other instead of being discrete bands--it's a fun touch. I also really like that the colours are reversed from what you'd see in a normal rainbow, with violet at the start running to red on the inside. This is what you see when you have a double rainbow--the primary bow is the familiar ROYGBIV, but the secondary bow is reverse--VIBGYOR!

I have it on a shelf in my RBG game room and it's perfect. It's bright enough to keep up with all the other lights in the room, and unique enough to stand out. The strip did come out of the mold in shipping, but it was as easy as pushing it back in. It's been plugged in for a few days now and it doesn't get hot and it's shining as bright as it did on day one. I think we have a winner! I love it.
