art and science of pour-over coffee
Love the rose-gold finish and textured design - very elegant. Lightweight, but durable and expensive looking. Fits most cups and mugs. I use a #2 filter which fits well. Brews the perfect cup of morning coffee in about 5-8 minutes with 4-5 pours. I watched a YouTube video on "how to make pour-over coffee" and made sure I had the technique down prior to purchasing. The ground size is important (slightly granular, not fine) and making a little divot in the middle of the coffee grounds for the initial pour helps to layer the coffee uniformly, as does swirling the filter slightly after the initial pour. Equally art and science: coffee brewing (and drinking) is an experience.

Great quality and beautiful!
This is a very well made coffee dripper. I have used the pour over sytem for about 10 years, and I've broken many porcelain and ceramic drippers.I'm glad I've found this beautiful and functional dripper. This dripper came in a sealed box with a starter pack of several tiny brown filters. The only con with this metal dripper(or any metal dripper) is that the side can get very hot, but the handle solves this problem. So far, I love it.

Not Good !
I got this metal dripper # 4 as I am tired of breaking ceramic drippers. The #4 dripper almost looks like copper finish with solid weight and looks really beautiful. I was over joyed just by looking at the build. But when I started brewing coffee , though it’s well made , the V shaped paper filters creates an air lock and causes the water discharge to be very very slow. This makes my coffee very bitter . I used the same paper filter on a Hario or a Bialetti dripper , the flow rate is normal. I really want to love this but I cannot. maybe instead of using paper or cloth filters , you can use this with Stainless steel mesh drippers to use coffee. if this minor issue is corrected it’s really an awesome dripper. !

Great product! But not for the coffee beginner
This is not for someone new to coffee. Making good coffee with a pour over is not easy. If you have your own bean grinder and are willing to take the time to get the grind size right, it works well! You also need to make sure you have filters that are supposed to be used in it. No. 2 work best. All in all, I'm really happy with it! But you have to know how to use it.

money well spent
better than our older, plastic coffee cone. can be washed in the dishwasher too. stainless steel is likely safer than plastic for health and we prefer using paper filters too, after reading a study noting that lack of paper filters increases diterpenes in the coffee (which block intestinal cholesterol-regulating receptors).

It will last my lifetime!
An amazing product,..it’s heavy, yet small. I also purchased steel mesh cones that fit inside perfectly. Together, these two products give me perfect morning coffee every morning. I love my organic coffee with no worries!

Well made, but small capacity and large hole
Very nice quality but it might be a bit small for some, the size is large enough to fill one small mug only, even though the product claims 1-4 cups. Also, the hole is kinda large, about the size of a nickel, so there’s a chance of your coffee filter tearing under the load. This happened to me a few times, and I eventually went back to using my plastic cone.
