Tomoko Fuse's Origami Boxes: Beautiful Paper Gift Boxes from Japan's Leading Origami Master (Origami Book with 30 Projects)
G**.
This book has been written by a master in the art of origami.
This book by Tomoko Fuse, a true master in the art of origami, is a treasure. I love every single box that is featured. I am happy I bought this book because there are many boxes in shapes I have not seen before. There are boxes made from traditional squares and boxes made from rectangles. The folding instructions are clear, well illustrated, and easy to follow. All boxes are made from beautiful papers and the photographs are a pleasure to look at. I like that Tomoko gives an idea of the final dimensions of her boxes and also some ideas how to vary length and height. She also plays with the colors and patterns on the papers to produce different looking variations. I cannot wait to make some of her creations and believe that this book will keep me busy for a long time.

I can do these!
A lot of origami books are either so simple that they are boring, or so difficult that they are impossible for me to do. These are mostly doable and fun! Mr. Fuse is short on words, but the pictures are clear and easy to follow. There are a couple of designs I haven't mastered yet, but I have enjoyed learning how to make all sorts of boxes. To be honest, I haven't gotten through the whole book yet, and one design I am still struggling with, but I have made about 20 boxes, some the same design. Many come with slight alterations that change the appearance and make them extra cool. Totally worth it!

I love this book!
Very high quality printing and pages. Would make a nice gift. I just love little boxes, so I thought it would be fun to learn origami and made some. True! Instructions are hard at first, since it is like a new visual language, but after a few boxes, I am happy with my progress and have some very cute little examples. I bought pretty, two-sided origami paper that came in three sizes in one box of 300. Great new hobby.

Frustrating Gaps
I’m a beginner. Cranes, flowers, simple animals, and a few variations on masu boxes are all I’ve done. Thought I’d be able to follow the directions in this book, but the lack of detail or more likely, assumption of existing knowledge/expertise makes it heavy going for me. The blurb says it’s suitable for novices, but it’s left this novice discouraged.

Tomoko Fuse rides again!!
Another Tomoko Fuse hit! I have collected many of her origami box books and this one seems to take a model here and there from her other books, with one or two new models, at least to me. I purchased the Kindle version and I love not having to hold my book open! ;) if you love origami &/or Tomoko Fuse, this is a must have

Fuse is the best!
Tomoko Fuse is one of the best origami masters alive today. Her books are wonderful and no matter how good you are at the art of origami, the results are wonderful.

One of Tomoko Fuse's best books
I have more books by Tomoko Fuse than anyone else. I love her modular boxes and often make them. She suggests 15cm paper, but I cut it into quarters to make small boxes. I feel these work better and they are sturdier too.

The most fun you can have with a sheet of paper
I haven't got very far with the book but so far so good. The diagrams can be a bit tricky to follow, but it seems like all of a sudden the sheet of paper turns into a box! There are so many great boxes in here for all purposes.
