Excellent shampoo
I've used the frizz ease serum for years. Never knew there was a shampoo! This stuff is amazing! And super cheap! The smell is super as soon as you open the bottle. The formula is a little thick, but it lathers up just fine rather quickly. No need to use more than your normal amount either.Rinses out super easy, no residue left behind.Helps with tangles..you can immediately see the straightness as soon as you get out of the shower. My hair laid soo much better when I brushed it when it was wet, than without the frizz ease shampoo.Noticed that my hair dried a lot faster than normal. After finishing up with the blow-dryer, I could still tell my hair was more straight and a lot less frizzy.Hair had the same feel it gets after using the frizz ease serum..almost like after using a flat iron. Not stiff, not soft exactly, but smooth to the extreme. My hair was not weighed down after using the shampoo either. I was still able to use the serum after using my blow dryer with no problem.I'll definitely be using this shampoo regularly to see if it has a cumulative effect! Either way, it rocks!

Smooths and feels oh so good!
I love this shampoo. I straighten my hair multiple times a week and after switching from tresseme, it's reduced the amount of hair I lose! It nourishes and straightens my hair in the shower, I love the smell, and it leaves my hair so soft. My only complaint is that it is a bit thin and takes some work getting it out of the bottle. It also doesn't foam up easily and you'll need to really work your hands.

Awesome for long, thin, wavy hair!
I have long, very thin, somewhat curly hair. I’ve used John Frieda products for over ten years, and the Flawlessly Straight shampoo & conditioner for around 8 years. Before I started ordering it here on Amazon, I’d occasionally run out when I could no longer find it in stores and would search for a new place; it took me 6 months to find it. In the meantime I’d try other products similar in cost and value, nothing cheap. The only way I can describe the feeling of my hair using other products is STRAW! lol and would get tangled horribly. Before running out, I didn’t even have to brush my hair after washing and drying naturally until I was ready to style it. It’s that incredible! After finally finding it again, my hair is slowly getting back to the soft, light texture it was before. It literally had to undo what the other products did!I now have it send by subscription-the shampoo monthly, conditioner every other month, and at a much cheaper price.I do wish it provided more volume because my hair is so thin, but JF has volume products I can use for that, and those are great too.Long hair is not easy maintenance, so if you’ve got hair similar to mine you may love these products just as much as I do!

No change in formula, smaller container
I have been using various FrizzEase shampoo /conditioner combinations for the last 10 years. They keep renaming similar formulas, and this is the newest one. This works exactly the same as the old Flawlessly Straight, just with new pretty purple packaging (and 2 ounces less per container). It's worth it for awesomely smooth hair, though. I have wavy, fine long color-treated hair and this is the best shampoo/conditioner combination I've ever tried. I've tried expensive salon brands like Moroccan Oil, Kerastasse, Biolage, and multiple others at the recommendation of my stylist. I keep coming back to this one because it does a better job than any of those. It does a great job on flyaways, and I just add a bit of Moroccanoil Light Oil and a pea-sized amount of the John Frieda Secret Weapon Cream. It is more expensive per ounce than some salon brands, so you do have to take that into account. The smell is not too heavy; just fresh smelling (kind of unisex, I guess). It seems to retain color as well as color-safe shampoos.

Did not help my hair
This product definitely made my hair slightly straight but when i stopped using it, it made my hair back to its original self. This product caused my hair to become frizzly and I am very upset. I would not use this product again.
