I wanted to attach this inside a tote bag and use it to attach my keys, but I don't think it will work for what I wanted. One of the points in the product information said that you just push a button to easily release the keys (inaccurate information), but the description says pull-apart (accurate). It takes a very strong pull to pull the pieces apart and I am afraid if I pulled on it this hard when it was attached in the bag, it would tear the bag. It is possible that the release would become easier with use. I would say it depends on how you are going to use it whether easy pull-apart is important to you. It seems kind of expensive for what it is.

This break away Keychain has a nice design and it's quite strong. It takes a lot of force to pull apart. These are nice to have if you only need to carry some keys. You can leave what you don't need.
