I couldn't resist the opportunity to paint this elephant in my new metallic watercolours. A bit different to my usual colourful style, but I wanted to recreate the essence of the desert with earthy tones of copper, gold and bronze. As my printer will not print the metallic colours, I have individually hand painted the metallics on to each and every print by hand. So that when the print is mounted on the wall, the light will catch the glint in the paint and create a stunning shimmer. Printed on matte archival 285gsm heavy quality card stock, so that it will not fade and the colours stay bright and vivid for a lifetime. I only use pigment ink which provides the true vibrancy and depth of colour it deserves. The listing is for the print only, not the frame. The frame I have used in the pictures comes from Wilkinson in the UK and the A4 size fits the large size (8" x 11"). All my prints are individually signed and shipped in clear plastic bags and 'DO NOT BEND' mailers, so you can be assured that your print will arrive safely.
