Does not take "D" cell batteries
I received these lights today and while they are very pretty and will suit my needs just fine, I thought I should write and let people know that these lights do not take 3 "D" cell batteries as advertised. They do, however, take 6 "AA" (double A) batteries. So I guess this means a trip to the local grocery store to purchase the correct batteries.

Not a good value.
Not a lot of light and cheaply made. Was fairly disappointed in this product. Only 4 LED lights for illumination.

Just beautiful.
My mother had ordered them for her loft that she was remodeling. She just loved them. They are just what she was looking for. She had shopped a few different sites, she went here on amazon and found what she was looking for. We put them up and wow what beautiful lighting. She is in love. Soft lighting is what she was looking for, and she was very impressed with this item.

LIttle Lamp
I did think it wss bigger.. but i do Like it.. it's a nice soft lighting effect.. really nice for a hallway.

NOT FOR ME
I returned this item because it was not what I needed or what I expected. I thought it would be similar to a lampshade material but it was more like paper. The quality was not what I was looking for.

bummed
The strength or brightness of the light faded so fast. I loved the looks and the idea but it only lasted with bright light for about 2 weeks. :(
