SHANGBOYI Solar Flood Light, 8W LED Dimmable Waterproof IP65 Square Security Floodlight with Remote Control for Outdoor, Garden, Yard, Patio, Swimming Pool, Barbeque and Party Lighting

I just received two of these. One is placed in a vacant room inside that our cat sleeps in at night. We used to leave a small LED light on for him that drew electricity (because otherwise he knocks his water and food over - he's getting old). That room faces the sun, so we just put the panel in the window and it has been working fine. We put the panel in the window and then we put the light above the window on a picture shelf so it doesn't shine in anyones eyes - we just point it out to the room and partially on the ceiling and it lights the small room up nicely, we use the 20% button for dim light for the cat and it lasts until we get up in the morning and turn it off with the remote. You can't see the cord because it's inside of the window sill. It comes with brackets for the wall to hang it, but we like the flexibility of being able to move it if there's a power outage. Honestly, it's narrow enough to put inside of a square or round lamp shade too if one wanted an outdoor lamp. It would work nice on the patio too, I'm planning to get more of these just because it's the only light I can find with a remote which gives options of 4 different levels of light, motion or not, auto on or not etc. This is a great light for anyone off grid and although it's rather plain and not in a "sexy" package, it's at least in one that doesn't look like your typical flood lamp so it doesn't look out of place inside up on the shelf and if laid flat to bounce light off the white ceiling, you don't really notice it. I think it said it was 500 or 600 lumens, but honestly it seems brighter to me. I hope it lasts because I've been unable to find out that looks like a "light" (and not like a black floor light that would hang off your house) ! It can be used inside/out and would work well in a motorhome, tiny house, tent, shed, closet... anywhere you want lit and down want to draw power or can't draw power.

I got this solar flood light for my deck lighting. I installed the panel at a place facing the sun. I now have my deck light up at night without paying extra electricity fees. The remote control is very useful, it can set 4 different brightness.

Not thoroughly tested, but satisfied at this point. At first look these lights deliver...bright, easy to install, nice remote features, big solar panel. Fairly priced as this product is a grade up from the cheap stuff, but not sexy. Batteries haven’t been put to the test, but I’m guessing they will hold up...light fixture has some weight. Will update as needed.

Not bright all. Could have been so much better.

I bought one of these just to try it out and it's very useful. We placed it on our deck and is very good for relaxing summer nights.
