This does well in a small compact machine . I have a small Avanti portable washer that’s small and two tablespoons , yes I said two tablespoons gives me a clean load . Last forever and the price is reasonable considering it’s Amazon and you get it delivered to your front door .If it cost anymore I wouldn’t buy it but cost wise it’s good and tide is a reliable name
