It does have a microphone.
So far over 2 weeks this "bulb" is working out very well. I don't understand why in the description it doesn't state that is has a microphone right on the device. So, it does pick up sound when it's recording. So, remember to put up "Video AND Audio recording" when someones in your home. It has a standard 1-year warranty i read up in the manual, so that's really nice. Thanks very much.UPDATE: It's been 6 months and I have still not much issue with it except for connection issues sometimes but, I've noticed they do update their app so that's always nice. So far so good, This has been mighty useful.
