After a particular nasty slice on my finger from my kitchen knife while slicing vegetables, I decided I needed something to protect my fingers before I started losing them! I ordered the 2 pack of these finger guards, and they do the trick. My only con is that I wish there was a way to size these. I have larger hands, and these aren't entirely comfortable. I can't slice and chop as quickly as I do without the finger guard, as there is an awkwardness in holding the vegetable/herb I'm cutting. But, this guard causes me to slow down while chopping, which in turn keeps me from going faster than my fingers can get out of the way!Overall, I really do like this little gadget. I believe it has saved me from accidents, and my fingers appreciate it!

I bought these for a friend who has recently become blind. She is very independent and lives by herself and wanted to be able to do more cooking for herself. These helped her be more confident while cutting food in the kitchen.

My husband uses this finger guard when he chops, slices food. I find it a bit awkward to use myself, but then I don't adjust really well to new methods of working. It wouldn't take me long to adjust, I'm sure...if I would just try using it a few times.

In principle this sounded like a great idea. But it is impractical. Difficult to push food through as you cut as your finger needs to have a clip on it.

My knife skills are decent, but when moving quickly, I get nervous about slicing my finger when chopping onions and the like. This helps solve that issue and it works really well. The finger guard is easy to use. clean, store, and even adjust. The metal bands that fit on your finger can be loosened or tightened. Just keep in mind that each time you do this, you're weakening the already thin metal. That aside, I'm happy that I got this because I feel more confident when chopping quickly.

Another assurance against injury. I sometimes team this up with a pair off those cutting gloves as well - better safe than sorry, and my hands are not as steady as they were when I was younger so I am extra cautious. Good quality and easy to use. Not meant for overall comfort I think - but they are only used for a short time anyway while preparing meals so no big deal. Recommended.

I have a XL glove size hand and this fits on my middle finger. Great idea. My only issue is the area it is connected from the ring to the plate. It has not failed yet but I am just waiting to see if it does. If the weld breaks I think some epoxy will bring it back. But other than the weld this is a great product for the price. If you have ever cut yourself cooking you will love this.

Waited almost 3 months, was in 2 pieces when I opened the package. Very poorly made. Got a refund. Would NOT buy again. Kathy in Kansas
