Her Soul for Revenge

4.5 StarsI loved Her Soul for Revenge—honestly, even more than Her Soul to Take. Zane and Juniper's dynamic was intense, emotional, and addicting. Juniper’s resilience and Zane’s protective but broody vibe made them my favorite couple in the series, so far.I also really enjoyed how this book runs alongside Her Soul to Take, giving a alternate POV on the same timeline. It made the whole world feel even more immersive. The horror and dark romance were just as strong, but the character development really stood out in this one.Some parts felt a little rushed—I just wanted more time with these characters. But overall, this was such a great read, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves dark romance, demons, and tough heroines.

I have loved this series so far! Zane and Juniper have fought together, and grown together. Spice, laughter, lust, trauma healing, demons, gods, repeaters and all the revenge and growth you could want along with a sexy demon and a wild human. Can’t wait to see how book three will be

Book 2 in the Souls Trilogy is definitely my favorite so far! I enjoyed it a lot, as it built on the strengths of the first book while adding more depth. Juniper and Zane's relationship is addictive, and I'm obsessed, and the intense plot outside of their romance kept me engaged and staying up all night. The spicy scenes fit well with the story, and I loved the additional locations, characters, and action. This book was filled with emotions, humor, and plenty of smut. I’m becoming obsessed with the characters, especially with Leon and Rae’s perspectives from different points in the timeline. I was sad when I finished reading—I need to know what happens with The God! Is it final over? Hopefully, everything that was missed in books 1 and 2 will be explained in book 3, which I'm about to indulge in.

I think this novel was even more intense than the first. Awesome chemistry and darkness. Very hot. Juniper especially was such a complex, interesting, tough character. And Zane was perfect for her.Can’t wait to read the next one!

3.5 ⭐️ 4.25 🌶️ (Could be a realllyyy spicy read for a new smut reader but this wasn’t the spiciest I’ve read)It was harder to give this book 4-5 stars because some parts I really loved and others were “ehh”. The line the Author was riding on the religion aspect got crossed a few too many times for my taste but the story was too good to stop reading completely, so if you’re a religious person then this book probably isn’t for you…. HOWEVER if you view this book as Fantasy / Otherwordly (Like me) then I think you’ll be fine. The Author had some ‘hiccups’ during this book that I didn’t notice in the first - stating FMC was pulled to her knees from standing position 2 times only one page between and getting lost in the overall mechanics of human bodies 🥴 but honestly nothing new when it comes to smut reading, I think these authors get lost in the moment like the rest of us sometimes 😅I also found it hard to relate to the FMC Juniper and although she had some things I could personally relate to, other things just got on my nerves or didn’t make sense to me.. this could just be me so I tried not to let it affect my rating but I found myself excited to read Zane chapters and not so excited to read Juniper chapters.WHAT I LOVED 🖤How the author has been inclusive in both books so far! We have demons AND humans who don’t follow normal gender roles, LGBTQ+, non-bianary, using they/them and just an ultra inclusive feeling throughout the book.Last but not least, these books have me INCREDIBLY excited for the 3rd and have me on the die of my seat for Everly and Callum’s stories 😍

This book was so good! The spooky cemetery vibe was so fun to dive into. I really love how the author added little details to the story we already knew from the prior book that made it not seem like I was reading the same regurgitated story. While I loved the prior book about Raelynn and Leon, Juniper’s story had so much depth and heartbreak that made the story so engaging and had me excited to pick the book back up. Juniper and Zane have my heart.

This book was even better than Her Soul to Take. Harley Laroux took the dark, delicious vibes from book one and dialed them way up. Juniper is such a powerful, raw, and real character. Her story is heavy tackling trauma, grief, rage, and the long messy road to healing. But instead of being weighed down by it, she owns it. Her revenge is earned, and her connection with Leon is both terrifying and heart wrenchingly beautiful. This book is feral. Blood soaked, soul bonded, emotionally charged, power exchange kink and demon possession that somehow manages to be hot and deeply intimate.
