I'm not one that gets my hopes up with unknown authors, especially, ones, that in all my reading, that I haven't come across. Since Booktok became a thing, it has been hit or miss. More often than naught, its been a miss. However, the most recent video that I saw had me eager to give this a shot after the "review" had me laughing out loud at the high praise of the leading man from this story. I'm here to say, she was not mistaken. When I say that this book was delicious, I mean this book was DELICIOUS with a capital D.The steam was top-tier, and the storyline was done in such a beautiful way. It wasn't just thrown together, all Willy nilly, for the sake of the story. It was thoughtful and had a depth that enhanced the progression. Getting the insight into the perspectives of both characters as they navigated this unconventional storyline WHILE, also being decadent shouldn't have been possible. However, this author did precisely that.Had I read the previous book before I dove into this book? Nope. Normally, my Virgo brain would have had fits. I didn't feel lost and, if anything, it made me want to go back and read the first book, even though, initially, it wasn't on my radar by the blurb alone. After reading this, I want ALL the characters and their stories.I highly recommend this book. I would give this man all the babies. ALL. OF. THEM.

This book was something else. I knew it would be volcanic lace hot, still I was not expecting this level.... It isn't as f!lthy as other ones out there, but the d!rty taking was next level. Despite the immense amount of spice it's actually a slow burn I til the 2 MCs get it on properly. But, of course we get tons of tension and yearning and lustful looks and moments. I love how confident with her body and her s£xual!ity Maddy is, she is a great character.Apart from all the steam there was also a lot of emotional moments. His late wife's signs were beautifully written and I actually teared up in one of them. Their journey together was mesmerising. They went from list to love, and it was beautifully done.Loved this book and will definitely read the others in the series.

Amazing book. Right from the first pages, this book gripped me. I loved Zach and Maddie's story. You would think a grieving widower part owner of a sex club could never be the hero you would want to meet, but this guy.... and Maddie, there was shameless, in a way that really made her Sovereign. Elodie somehow really brought out the Alchemy between these two and all the supporting characters. Read it basically in one go after being recommended Unfurl. Seriously this book was perfection. I read it on KU then bought it its so good.

This was the perfect push pull relationship and story. I adore that Maddy was our leading lady and Zach was our mystery man because man the things we learned about these two together was a wild ride! It’s sweet, funny, heartfelt, and HOT!

This story was so good, I really like book 1 but this one had all the feels. Zach, widow, single dad, trying to be enough for his girls. Maddy young, vibrant and enjoying all that comes with that stage of life is like kryptonite to Zach. Their journey and healing was really lovely to read and the dirty talk was something else. HEA.
