Holosun Technologies Micro Red Dot, 2MOA Dot Only or a 2MOA Dot with 65MOA Cirlcle, Side Battery, in

Like many, I cannot justify spending 5x the price of this optic on the "real" name brand version. After reading and watching TONS of reviews and torture tests on this product and brand, I felt it was up to the job I needed it for. I do not jump out of helicopters in anger for a living (and I don't have a rich Uncle Sam footing the bill) so I am happy to spend 1/5 the price on something that is 95%+ as good and fits my needs. I also prefer the 65moa circle/2moa dot (like an EoTech) reticle over a simple dot, but that is personal preference (and user configurable on this model).

Just received this from Optics Planet. I’m very disappointed. I usually purchase high end equipment because you get what you pay for. I have seen other Holosun optics and they looked pretty good. I decided to purchase this one for a Kel-Tec KSG. The item arrived quickly as I have Amazon Prime.When I opened it I was very impressed with nice box, all the items were there and the finish was excellent. After I mounted the sight, I was looking at it after I took the lens covers off and what do I see??? The whole front lens is canted about 15-20 degrees. It’s in there tight but obviously not correctly. I guess I’ll send it back and hope to get one that is not defective.Follow up...never mind...it’s supposed to be that way.

Mounted on AR pistol build kit. Recommend by another builder and I am very glad I purchased this sight. Works great in low light and bright sun. I will buy another for my next build.
