I purchased the Sidekick to use with a YETI Camino 35 carryall as a boat day bag. The Velcro attachment loops are solid, and the material of the body of the Sidekick appears to be very durable, not thin vinyl like other knockoff waterproof bags. The Sidekick seals very securely. I haven’t tried dunking it completely under water, but for general purpose to keep critical items (wallet, phone, key fob, hand held GPS and radio, etc.) it works very well. I’m going to purchase a second one to attach to the YETI Hopper soft cooler.

I’m glad Yeti made the bigger size of Sidekick. 1L version was great for many things, but 3L version definitely was perfect for my needs, which was to use on Hopper18 when paddle boarding to keep some items easily accessible on the water. Easy access and solid construction. Needed to take some air out of the bag at times, but it was not too much of a problem for me. I wish the Sidekick line came with the strap. I’m a huge fan of Yeti and do not mind purchasing solid trusted products like this, but versatility of this product increases if the strap wasn’t sold separately.

I have used and abused the 3L for several years attached to my canoe seat back. This 1L version is perfect for my pixel 7 pro in a case leaving lots of room for wallet key and lots more. Easy to open, ingenious magnetic closure, convenient size for pocket items. I have never had mine leak in several years of use but not made for submersion. Designed for backpack add on but works well for any use. Velcro straps and other loops on back make it easy to mount to anything. The price is high but it is a pretty unique product and works flawlessly.

I take a swim class and I needed a small bag for my phone, fob, etc. I throw my wet suit in the bag with the yeti small pouch. Perfect! The important stuff doesn’t get wet.

Perfect for gym to carry phone, keys and small items. Durable light weight. Closes easily but securely. Added a strap to carry like a crossover.

Got this to add a pocket to my flip 8 cooler.It seems well made and I’ve little dumb about its waterproofing. ( I wouldn’t submerge it) The magnets are strong and seal tight and the Velcro is strong at the moment. It’s true to size and larger than I expected in person.However,I’m not a fan of Velcro, it never holds its strength after continuous use and the opening is very small and access is difficult.Over all it’s a quality item that carries a hefty price tag. I would recommend this to those who don’t compromise but recommend looking into other options for those on a budget. I’m sure you could do as well for less in this case without the yeti name.
