Perfect deterrent to slugs and snails
If you are looking for slug and snail repellent this is perfect. We used it four ways.1- Edging raised beds and planters. Stapled it on to the wood in one long strip.2- Protective circles around the base of plants and pots. Cutting a 10-20 cm piece roll to make a loop. Pinned with small sticks ensuring no 'bridges' were made by leaves dangling over the edge, or by pushing the coil beneath the soil surface.3- Wrapping a small loop made by cutting a 5 cm section around the main stem of larger plants.4- Sprinkling the tiny pieces left from cutting the mesh amongst areas of seeds. The mesh releases clippings when cut. It is wise to cut over a tray slowly, if it's done too quickly they spring off and could cause small injuries. If using this method keep children and pets away from the sprinkled area as they can be quite sharp. At first the copper is bright and shiny, then mellows into a deep brown that is barely noticable. We were planting a whole garden, it is excellent value for money. Wherever we used it there was no slug damage at all. The rest of the garden was evidently a picnic for them!

COPPER STOPS FIELD MICE
Put it over the inlet pipe that they were getting in by. Tied it round and it seems to have stopped the problem.I read that they get a slight shock from the copper and they do not like to chew it!

Mission to get rid of Vermin
I have just used this as l am made aware that their dont like copper. Really easy to use and cut. It looks like a sleeve as it double, so can be cut open if you want to make it wide. Very flexible material and quit a big roll but worth buying just in case. I used this in combination of the coarse steel wool and expanding form.

Thought at first it was working
Did all properly, never saw many making it into the grow area, thought - success! Then came out at 6am to check today and saw the invasion! 3 massive slugs just leasurely climbing over the coppee fence and a huge snail as well - I am beginning to think it's a lie or a myth about these and copper! Thought the same when i bought copper tape to stop them coming into my house, but then decided to give this a try anyway. People - it does not work! 3 stars out

It stops the slugs
I bought a roll of this stuff to protect runner bean and sweet corn plants in my garden 3 or 4 weeks ago. It was easy to cut with scissors. I laid it around my plants and pinned it down with some U shaped metal pins I had. It was quick and easy to get the job done. I purposely left a pair of plants without the mesh as a test, and now after a few weeks, they are the only plants to have any leaves eaten or damaged, while all of the others with the mesh are untouched and growing well.

Works great
This stuff worked great to keep the slugs and snails off my sunflowers🌻 took about 5 attempts to get them past a certain stage kept getting up in the morning to find stalks so my sunflowers were very late. Bought this as a final attempt and now I've got 7 foot tall sunflowers with all their leaves with barely a bite out of them🌻

Hosta protection is great
This works brilliantly for edging wood planters . You can just staple it at the top and it sits as a barrier for slugs and snails. Not one snail has managed to penetrate the barrier.
