video picture quality is astounding
I was expecting an adequate picture. This far exceeded my expectations. Picture quality is excellent. If it's really sunny, you will get some white wash of the picture, but the camera comes with an adjustable black visor. I don't care about the white wash because I need it at dusk/night. I tow a boat every weekend in the summer. I'm good at backing up a 25 foot trailer at the boat launch, but I'm nervous about children or even adults running behind my boat while I am backing up. This camera system allows me to mount the camera on my boat facing backwards (yes, the wiring is long enough), so I have extra visibility backing up in crowded areas. It also allows me to see cars/motorcycles that are tailgating me on the road. There are quick disconnects for the video and power wire that you can disconnect before the boat floats off the trailer. I also bought a second, license plate mounted camera from the same company (and wired it into the same monitor) that allows me to see under the boat. That one allows me to see both wheel fenders and objects on the side of the boat. The video monitor switches back and forth between cameras with the push of a button.

Great camera
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, love the larger monitor on these units. Lots of wire to run it anyway you need to. Cigarette lighter adapter makes installation really easy and quick.
