I bought this test to try to it out for ease of doing at home, and I had no issues performing the test and it met my expectations. I admit that reading the other reviews helped me prepare how to perform the test correctly. As mentioned in the other reviews, the tricky part for some is the blood draw. First, I washed my hands in warm water, and then I had no issues using the provided lancet to prick my finger. In my test kit, the pipette was not meant to be used to suck the blood into the pipette using the pipette bulb. Instead one held the pipette in a horizontal fashion with the tip of the pipette in the blood drop forming on my finger, and then the blood entered the capillary of the pipette automatically. I slowly massaged my finger with an adjacent finger as I filled the pipette with blood up to the black line on the pipette. To transfer the blood to the well on the test cassette, I placed the pipette in the middle of the well and slowly squeezed the blood out of the pipette. Then, I added 2 drops from the provided dropper solution into the well. In 5 minutes my result was ready and my PSA test gave a negative/normal result.In addition, in the instructions provided in the box the manufacturer of the test is listed at Primalabsa.ch. At their website one can find a video on how to perform the test with additional details about the test. If I am unable to get my yearly PSA test done at a lab due to my schedule, I would definitely consider using this quick at home test again to check my PSA level.Lastly, the images provided in the product description, along with the images provided by some of the other reviewers indicates that this product has changed recently. The PSA test that I purchased seemed easier to use compared to the descriptions of the prior tests purchased by users.

I ordered two PSA tests and received two Menopause tests. After contacting customer service chat, two replacement shipments were received containing separate PSA tests. One shipment was good (left below), the second (right below) appears to have been previously used and product contents were missing. The good test package worked as advertised.

This test was super amazing, the instructions were clear and easy to use and works well, it saved me a lot of time from going to the doctor.

I thought this would be a good idea, but a PSA lab test gives a numerical score. This gives pass fail and either way, you should probably still get the lab test. So ultimately it's just not that useful or informative to me the way other tests in this form factor are, such as flu or pregnancy tests where pass fail makes more sense.

PSA Test Kit at HomeI was able to successfully perform this test but some people can have difficulty. The issue for most would be with the blood collection and application to the test strip. The kit provides easy to follow instructions but the blood collection process can be difficult for some. The lancet was effective for drawing the blood but the dropper is where I had issues. You do not want to draw up into the dropper with suction but if you don't have enough of a sample from the lancet it will be difficult to collect and place. I was able to get the blood on the test strip but it was not easy. After the blood is placed it is very easy to apply the solution and wait for the results.

This PSA test kit worked ok but it lacked instructions on how the lancets worked. The top cap of the lancet showed rotational arrows which I guess means to twist off the cap but the instructions don’t mention how to actually use it, I found out the hard way by pressing the lancet body (pink device) on to your finger, I discharged it on the table without knowing it. Even with two lancets I ended up discharging both because there were no instructions on them. I ended up having to use my own lancet device instead. The kit if it was explained well in the instructions would allow you to collect the blood sample and apply it to the test. Since the provided lancets failed to work for me it was already getting frustrating to use this test but I pushed through by using my own lancet device. The second issue that I encountered was the blood collection bulb was not the type that would draw your blood from your drop that formed on your finger so I had to squeeze the bulb to draw the blood in, I struggled to get enough blood in a single shot so I ended up using my lancet on another finger to draw more blood. After struggling through all of that it was easy to apply the blood sample onto the test and then I added a single drop of the included buffer solution and my test started and so I waited the 5 mins and it returned a result of negative which coincided with my lab results so that is at least a sign that this test didn’t give me a result that I got from my doctor. Overall I found that this kit can and does work at performing a quick PSA test but the struggles I had to overcome in collecting the blood sample with the provided equipment was a failure point in this test kit.
