10W LED Clip on Lamp, Desk Light with 3 Modes 2M Cable Dimmer 10 Levels Clamp Table Lights

1. This lamp only comes with a USB plug. No 110W AC plug in the box. Seriously! I'm plugging this into a wall not computer! How much would one plug cost the manufacturer? $.50? Ridiculous! Strike 1.2. The manufacturer claims this lamp is 600 Lumens - which is why I bought it. Not so. This lamp is maybe 300. I have a lamp at work that is 350 LM that is brighter than this - Strike 2.3. They claim 10 brightness levels. The most I could count was 8 - not that I care but they made the claim.4. The cord seems plenty long but the control is about 1 ft from the base.5. The clip is strong and the goose neck tight enough that it doesn't droop.This may be ok for a dorm room desk or bed but not for what I need.

Worth noting: GET A 10W USB PLUG!!! Not all usb plugs are equal. If you give this light less than 10w, it will be a waste of it's great LEDs. Most phone charging USB cubes are less than 10w. So search for 10W. Also, if it's a dual usb plug, then it's probably splitting its power in half. Get 10W PER OUTLET adapter for this.The LED itself is great. beautiful color tone and bright enough for a personal space. Nice wide angle too. None of that spot light crap from lights that use a lensing effect.4 instead of 5 stars because the goosneck isnt nearly as flexible as I hoped. It just sorta springs back to where it wants to be. Flexible enough for most uses. But if you're doing anything outside of a mild bend, it might take some finagling.

This lamp is terrific if you are looking for 1) brightness and 2) ability to clamp onto a surface like a table. It has three brightness levels. I will be using it next to my sewing machine, which sits on a folding table. I doubt I will use the lowest brightness levels, I will probably crank it to the max every time. I am having vision problems and I think this will take care of sufficient lighting for my sewing tasks. The arm is very sturdy yet flexible; I believe it will hold up to re-positioning, but not sag or lose its shape. The gooseneck is a decent length. The lamp area itself is low profile and can be positioned right over where you need it. The clamp is very strong but has cushioning foam so it won't damage your table. Be aware that, as it is shipped, it does not plug into a standard wall outlet. It has a USB plug, like you would use on a computer. But USB-to-power adapters are everywhere, you can easily buy one at a dollar store or an electronics store.

Very nice little light! Sometimes I think it could be a bit brighter but it still works for me. The clip on feature saves desk space and its slim profile keeps it from getting in my way when reaching for equipment. I like that I can position it to not reflect off the computer screen, not shine in my eyes, and yet throw light onto my keyboard and work area.Well, here it is ten months later and the power switch on my light has disintegrated and that led to total failure. The second light used by my wife is on the way to the same fate. Too bad, as I did like this light.

I bought this clamp lamp to pair with a bed/sofa/floor folding table (I use it as a drawing and craft project table). This one is 10w and somewhat sufficiently bight. The table top is thin but the clamp is able to hold on without the goose neck and light bar tilting down. The direction of the light bar isn’t easy to manipulate (can't let light hit the eyes). The control is in the middle of the cord, kind of inconvenient. I can’t wrap it around the clamp without sacrifice cord length. Stretching the cord means I can’t control the lamp without getting up. This may not be a con if you put the lamp away from you. The control would be near you to operate. For my setup, this is a drawback.

I like the light weight of this lamp, and the lighting features. It is 100% quiet and it does the job.The only hiccup for me is that the clip is a two-handed process as it has a very tight spring -- so it is hard for me to use.I don't have a way to leave it in place all the time so I constantly need to put it up and take it down. For the kind of use I am needing I would love to see a version that has a screw-down type clamp. Much better for those of us with small hands and limited strength or arthritis.

The assembly is a USB powered unit and was not sold with an adaptor. I wish the lighting was a tad brighter but otherwise works great. I've plugged it into a USB port on my Dell monitor which is both a plus and minus since the monitor has to be switched on to be able to power the light. But of course, it automatically switches off once you power down your machine for (depending on your display's power settings). I haven't tried the tip on the delay off (pressing the power button for more than 3 seconds apparently sets a 5-minute delay in powering off the unit), but a useful tip if I had to plug it in some other way.PS...tested the power-down delay feature and it works, EXCEPT, contrary to provided description, the delay is ONE minute, not five.

For the brightness, it is alright. The clip is strong. The goose neck is 15". The only issue I have with the lamp is its capability to "rotate". I know it can twist and bend but this is not exactly what I like, therefore, it got 4 stars. Plus the customer service department kept communicateing with me in an attempt to address my concern, it deserves another half star. Conclusively, if you are not as picky as I am, this is a good choice
