A stunning, unusual watch that draws attention.I've had it just over a week now, and worn it each day, taking it off only for showers and bed. Can't say how many seconds it's lost or gained as it doesn't have a second finger, but I can say that it was set against my PC clock and it remains in sync to the minute.The open heart on this watch is a work of art with the revolving 'cartwheel' that sits on top of the regulator a nice feature. I also like the scrolled silver balance bridge, The dual time feature is useful and can be easily set to another time zone if you have someone living abroad and need to know the time there before you telephone.Generally seems well put together with decent materials used throughout. The strap is marked as genuine leather but has a shiny vinyl feel to the upper surface.The strap buckle takes a little patience to master as it has a unusual ship's cleat shaped addition that can make removing the watch awkward - the trick is to tighten the strap a little before easing the pin from the hole. And I've noticed the cleat can mark the strap because of the pressure it exerts when the watch is worn.I'm glad I bought it.Update: Now had the watch for 6 weeks and it's still performing well - gained 3 minutes in that time which is pretty good going for a Chinese mechanism - perhaps I've just let lucky with mine. However, when I'm not wearing the watch I do keep it on a watch winder which ensures it's kept fully wound, and as it has a dual mainspring it does require a fair bit of winding to fully charge.

I have been looking for an aesthetically pleasing skeleton watch that wouldn't break the bank for some time now and I believe I have found the perfect watch to suit me in this regard. After finding this Thomas Earnshaw watch on Amazon I was a little dubious as there was a marked difference in price compared to other watches of similar designs. But the reviews seemed positive and I just fell in love with how the watch looked so I took the plunge and bought it. When it arrived on my doorstep I was not left disappointed, the watch is stunning and even the presentation in a branded Thomas Earnshaw box felt too good to be true for the price. I have been wearing it for a full week now and have absolutely no complaints. I have received countless compliments as it is so eye catching and it has been working flawlessly for me to date. I'm sure there may have been some corners cut somewhere along the way so as we could arrive at this price point for this watch but honestly I couldn't tell you what those corners were. I am extremely happy with this purchase and all going well will be enjoying this beautiful watch for many years to come.

Good looking time piece with basic information. No date, No Second Hand, but second time zone and Sun or moon phase displayed.It becomes very apparent that this watch is for active people...Because the instructions repeatedly say that this watch needs to be worn at least 8 hours of the day. I have found that you need to be quite active too in those 8 hours, or you will have to TOP UP the spring with the winder. It feels and looks good on the Wrist though, and certainly looks the part when dressed up. Because I need glasses to read, please be aware the the fingers do not stand out at all and may have to look twice to see the time. Just Sayin.

PROS - it is a beautiful watch, comfortable to wear. Looks and feels like quality. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but it seems to keep good time. The main spring stakes several days to fully wind itself up, so should take a few days to wind down. Setting the dual time is simplicity itself. Turn the knob anti-clockwise to set the small dial face then the opposite way to set the main dial. The sun and moon dial shows whether it is night or day - very pretty. You can see lots of the inner workings. You can actually see how tight the main spring is.CONS - The first watch I received did not work. Quite disappointing. Amazon very efficiently exchanged it within a couple of days.There is no second hand.If buying as a future present make sure you try it out well before you give it.Conclusion - in spite of the problem that I had I would would still buy this watch.

The media could not be loaded. Watch stopped working today all of a sudden. It doesn’t oscillate any more. You can see in the video that the spring is winded up. Trying to find out how to contact seller but doesn’t seem to be a way to do it.I expected this to be a good watch as it feels robust, but I was wrong.

It's a very nice watch, it looks much better in person than on the photos, you can also compare it with the "Longtitude 8006-08" model. One of the best watches I had.I received it on the date they said it would so the service is very good and the watch itself was nicely packed and presented in a wooden box.To wind it you just have to set the watch on the correct time and wind the crown towards you, it was working within a minute.You do have to wear it for about 8 hours a day otherwise it will stop since you have to move your arm to wind it throughout the day, but you can also just move your arm / wrist for a while and the watch will work overnight.I highly recommend the watch since the looks are stunning and its mechanical good!
