Brilliant book, I have completed all the projects having never ever knitted before.Couple of little niggles, the wool they suggest for the projects is quite specific and could do with being more generalised to be able to find options elsewhere and the pattern for the bag they get you to make omits to mention how to knit the handle!I improvised but the book in general is great.

An excellent starter book for a new knitter
An excellent starter book for a new knitter. Not only does it explain the cast on, cast off and stitches, but provides patterns for easy projects to use each new found skill.

Good beginners book
Great book for beginners. Bought as present and was fully appreciated. It has a clear layout and good diagrams and explanations. Not over pricey either with a good selection of projects too.

Very useful book for beginners, I would recommend this to anyone that wanted to learn to knit.

If you don't know what you are doing, useless.
Fine if you know what you're doing I suppose. But I don't and this is totally useless. Bought impulsively while purchasing my first knitting supplies - fared better with youtube to learn. Sorry.
