This handmade pottery utensil holder, wine chiller, vase was thrown on the wheel using a brown stoneware clay. It has an attached coral bell leaf imprint. A real coral bell leaf is pressed into the wet clay and then burns off in the kiln firing, leaving the imprint of the leaf in the clay. The glaze is a glossy blue green and the leaf is finished in an oxide wash and left unglazed. The oxide wash shows the veins in the leaf beautifully. This piece is approx. 6 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide at the rim.
