Shakmods 24 Pin ATX Motherboard Sleeved Extension Cable 30cm + 2 Cable Combs (Pink & Black)

I love it. Out of everything I've added to my PC it might be my favourite part, which sounds hyperbolic but it's not an RGB intensive build so the details are what make it and the standard connectors are horrendous to behold.It's tough to work with because it's not the most flexible material and it will make cable management round the back harder, but this doesn't really bother me. The only real negative is that it's so tough, it actually pushes the bar on my NZXT case out slightly, but it's not so bad as to wind me up and I look at it every day.Its toughness is a positive too, of course. I've played around with it a lot, experimenting with wrapping it around the front of the bar and squeezing it behind, and it's still in good shape so I could transfer it to a different build no problem. The only reason I'd get a new one is if I wanted a change of colour.The biggest attraction to me is how tightly the cables are packed in with each other. Being nicely thick and having two cable combs means it looks like a textured whole, rather than a lot of ugly individuals combed together. I've seen so many 'premium' builds that use looser, thinner cables and they might be easier to work with, but the cheap visuals more than offset that for me.It's obviously more expensive than the bundles you can get, but it's less pricey than other famous brands I've seen, and I think it's the perfect middle ground for quality/price. Being all white rather than white cables with black connectors and combs seems pretty rare as well, and makes a huge difference.I'm very, very happy with it, and will buy this brand again when I move the rig to the office and get around to installing a GPU. Heartily recommended. I can't see how this would disappoint anyone.

Right off the back: these cables are not paracord sleeved. That being said, they don't look bad at all once they are in the case, but upon closer inspection, you will notice the shiny surface of the plastic sleeve.They hold together well, but they are a bit stiff and resist when trying to properly arrange them. It's nice they've included cable combs, but one thing that would have made them a 5-star product would have been to have the inner cables shorter so it bends more naturally.

So glad I bought these. Some pointers that might help anyone else considering which extensions to get:a) the extensions are packaged completely straight, so you can bend them to the shape you want. Some other brands are folded up when you receive them (why do they do that?) & some reviewers have complained that it's impossible to ever straighten out the kinks.b) these extensions come complete with a pair of pre-fitted cable combs to keep the wiring extra tidy & you can easily slide them around to re-position them where needed. Most other cable extensions come without combs so you have to buy them separately (and they are a total ripoff).c) I ordered direct from Shakmods & delivery was really quick.Oh & I paid for these with my own money - so this isn't one of "those reviews" that only gave 5 stars because they got it free!

Ordered and received within 48 hours;I ordered:- 6+2 Pin GPU Cable *(NOT the same as an 8 Pin cable)- 6 Pin GPU cable (The same as 6 + 2, but without the +2)- 24 Pin cableThey arrived packaged in an own branded packaging by the seller (which was a nice touch)The items arrived in great condition, looking like a very clean job has been done in making them.Added to my build, and I think they look great!The photos I have provided don't give them much justice, as I am no photographer, its just so you can get an idea of their design (and probably could be laid out a bit better than I currently have them.Kinda wish I had the money in the bank to also buy the 8 pin CPU header...maybe another time :)

Adding these extensions to my PSU cables made my pc look 10x better, There are 2 clear combs the are attached that cannot be taken off.They are very stiff wires meaning that you can bend them and get a nice curve the added combs are a nice added touch to keep those wires looking straight and in line.The only down fall is that on my pc case there isn't enough room behind to get the extension where I want it meaning that it sticks out and has a bigger curve than I wanted.

I've been looking at different brands for this specific motherboard extension cable and found that Shakmods are the best quality and value. I also prefer to buy from the UK rather than China or somewhere else, support local labour. Used it with a Seasonic Focus GX-750 and Z490 Tomahawk, no issues.

Having bought from this supplier before, via a different online site, I had no doubts about their quality, and I wasn't mistaken. It was a surprise to see them on Amazon, but a happy one.The cable was of a high standard, and was perfect for my needs. It only came with 2x cable combs, but this was enough for me this time round, and while the fittings were snug, that's better than loose or not fitting at all.Overall, a very good product, and given their new packaging, they've stepped up from their days on popular auction sites.

Really good colour and the cable length was perfect. It’s easy to install and comes with transparent combs. A lot cheaper than most cable mods on the market and does the job perfectly.
