Bought as a gift for our 4 year old, he’s super smart and has zero trouble operating. I will say that the bbs that it shoots does hurt if you are within close range, so be careful if children are playing with.

So there is toy grade and hobby grade. I would put this tank at the high end of a toy grade. It doesn't make the mark for a hobby grade BUT it is still worth having and a lot of fun can be had by people of all ages. The packaging is nice. Box is attractive and the inside was well designed to keep the model safe. The tank model itself is plastic with metal wheels and tracks. It looks like a fairly accurate model of the tank but probably not 100% accurate. Turning it on, the engine sound effect powers on. Giving it a little up stick and she takes off. I immediately realized that it was a 1 channel sound system which is a little disappointing as you lose immersiveness when one sound stops entirely when another sound plays. For example, if you fire the cannon, the engine sound stops while the explosion occurs. That would be a difference between toy grade vs hobby grade. It's not much at all to use a multi channeled sound system so not sure why they didn't. Pushing the button for the machine gun sound and it didn't work. Tried again a few more times and nothing. Then suddenly it worked. Then it didn't work. They it did... And so forth and so on. Bad contact with the switch or something else going on. However, on the 2nd day, the switch was working better and it worked most every time I pressed it. The smoke is really cool. Too bad it's not black like diesel should be but even with white smoke its cool. The bb projectile is an eye opener. I expected it to launch out of the cannon with a decent clip but this thing is like a real weapon. It's scary fast and hard. We tried to film it in slow motion and it's so fast it doesn't show up. The only way we know it shot out was because we heard it instantly hit a large box 15 feet away and just as instantly heard it hit the wall behind us about 12 feet away. Then my son found it still moving on the floor down the hallway. Do NOT shoot people or animals with this. :O Wowzer. It think for the price, its a good value and has good features. Happy with the tank!

Looks and feels great especially the metal tracks. Fires on demand.

The tank broke and stopped firing plastic 'bullets' within the first 5 minutes of play. The birthday child was crying and parents were very upset.

Awesome rc tank. Bb function adds a lot of fun.

It has full proportional control in all directions. You have turret controls left, right, up down. The simulated recoil on the cannon and the ability to shoot real projectiles is awesome. It has a metal track along with metal guide and drive wheels. There is working suspension. You has smoke effects along with on/off for sound and smoke. There's a separate fire button for the cannon and fire button for the machine guns...the machine guns are just for looks. In my opinion it's still toy grade and for 160 bucks it's just too pricey. Don't get me wrong it's impressive and a blast to play with but I'd like to see the price come down a bit...that's my only issue.

I have ordered several RC tanks over the years and this one ranks near the top in terms of scale modelling. As it sits, it looks amazing. The actual RC movements are not quite scale, but sitting on a shelf or idle and it looks amazing. As a toy, any kid or kid at heart is going to love this. Having a working turret is a blast (literally) and I find the plastic BB's are best. Although it says you can use the water (zorbees?), I am hesitant to repeatedly use them for fear of clogging it up. If I could recommend anything to improve it, it would be to enhance the suspension even just a little to keep it from bouncing around like a flailing robot. I recommend picking up a set of "Dust and Dirt Paint" to add some realism to it. This little touch-up will make it look like a million bucks.

Tolles Spielzeug. Funktioniert auch draußen. Die Kugeln schießen weit (gute 20m) mit größerer Streuung. Motorengeräusch kann abgeschaltet werden, was gut ist, da ich es laut empfand. Würde das Produkt wieder kaufen. Kind und Vater spielen immer Mal wieder mit.
