If you have branches you need to cut up, you need this!Imagine having a 10 foot long branch, 3 inches in diameter. Normally you would chainsaw this, and you would have to prop up the branch so the chain doesn't hit the dirt. Then you have to move the prop for each cut.With the JawSaw, you leave the branch on the ground, drop it onto the branch, hold the trigger and push down. It doesn't require a lot of force as the tool does the work. You can, literally, cut through that whole 10 foot branch in less than a minute!If the jaw can fit around the branch, this tool can cut it. If you have used chainsaws in the past, I think you will be astounded at how fast this cuts through thick branches: 10 seconds to go through a 4 inch branch.It is more tedious if you are having to cut overhead branches. But, it is still easier than if you use a regular chain saw.You do have to use a special chain oil with this. The regular chain saw chain oil is 90 weight, which would destroy this saw. I just buy mine at Walmart. It is the Supertech SAE 30 bar and chain oil. I don't think it really matters what brand you buy or where you buy it, as long as it is the 30 weight (WT) bar and chain oil.

If not for the JawSaw, my yard would a hard to control. Jaw saw makes quick work of cutting/trimming, pruning, anything applicable. No regrets purchasing saw. UPDATE: If you trim, cut branches, trees consider the JawSaw. At first I thought the JawSaw was a gimmick. No gimmick, no way it's the real deal. I used the JawSaw to cut branches into smaller pieces. At first, the chain kept coming off a lot. I didn't tighten it with the wrench that came with it. I run the JawSaw for a couple seconds first before cutting. No more chains coming off. Makes work easier. I will be trimming my Mango tree. I have the JawSaw and Black and Decker reciprocating saw and some cutters. Easy. Again, no regrets. Recommended purchase. Thinking to purchase the cordless JawSaw.

If you live in a vegetation area and have trees all around that needs cutting/trimming, this is THE only cutting gear you'll ever need. Very handy for those branches you can't reach with a saw and I like that the claws grips the branches for an easy smooth cut. I wish I had discover this tool a long time ago. It's well worth the money and I've had no issues so far. It can be a bit heavy to raise up but very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Don't for to order the extension pole for those hard to reach areas you like to cut. I'm glad I now own one and you will be too. I highly recommend.

The saw cuts well, but it is heavy. Definitely will build arm muscles if you have a lot of cutting to do.

Awesome tool! I got it to get my son to be able to help break-down branches from out annual tree trimming chore. Anything that is to big for the lopper is perfect for this tool. My 12 year old has no problem using it, and it is very safe! I actually grab it in place if the chainsaw to breakdown small limbs in order to fit into the green waste bin.I've had several Worx tools and they are a very impressive reputable brand!

The old expression "where have you been all my life" really applies here. Have had a lot of tree limbs to trim and cut up for disposal with the recent storms and the use of the normal chain saw always presents the problem with controlling the chain from harm or harming you with a lot of tricky branches. This hungry little tools gobbles them up in nothing flat, safely and I really love being able to set them it on the ground over branches and just pressing down the handle to cut them without worry of the chain hitting the cement. I even used it on a pile of twigs to knock them down to size which worked great but it sometimes drew in small ones that caused the chain to come of the bar, No big problem, they made it so simple to change or replace the chain on the bar that it only took a few minutes to be back to cutting. Even the wife used it with ease and loves it. Highly recommend it even the weight would not be an item of concern and yes it did wipe through 4 inch branches!

Very practical for cutting branches. I'm happy with this ingenious Chainsaw.
