Good quality for the price
Perfect for training indoors and out. I do not let my children use the more expensive weighted ball outside, but for the price, I am okay with this being used outside. They love the "LSU colors"!I use it for a little extra weight when core training.

Great weighted ball!
We got this ball to help our 10U girls team get stronger with their shooting. It made a huge difference! We went from not being able to get the ball to the rim from the free throw line, to all of them getting it there. It definitely did what we needed it to! It is well made, and holds air like its supposed to!

Good training aid.
Bought this for my son to help with his ball handling after hitting a growth spurt and now has to get used to handling the ball all over again. Has been used for a week with some Youtube videos and can already notice the difference in his dribbling. Ball comes completely flat and needs to be worked while inflating, used a bicycle pump as a hand pump was exhausting.

I love this basketball
I have used this basketball everyday for the past few months and I love it. I mainly focus on my cardio health so I play basketball, I use this ball as it gives me some resistance/force to build some strength and I totally forget that I'm actually working out.

First Time with This Sort of Ball; Very Interesting and Intriguing
I've played basketball my whole life but had never come across a training ball like this. Now that I am working more with my younger kids on developing strength for both ball handling and shooting, this seemed like an interesting and intriguing option.I've really enjoyed the experience of doing 15 to 20 minutes of ball handling and shooting. After playing with a ball this heavy for that amount of time, a couple of things happen. One is that your hands/wrists/arms feel like they've had a decent workout, but the other is that a normal ball now feels very light and easy to handle. One good illustration of how the ball also really pushes you to focus is when you try to do any sort of fade-away shot, even from just a few feet away. The weight of the ball really forces you to focus on driving with your legs on the fade-away to still get the ball to the basket.Overall, I really like it and I think it will be a great addition to our basketball routines.Note that you do have to be careful if you're using this with younger kids around though, as a missed shot or a particularly hard rebound could land pretty hard as the ball is fairly heavy.

A Medicine Ball for Fitness: Enhancing Warm-Up, Stretching, and Cooling Down
I recently got my hands on the HoloCiao 3LBS Weighted Basketball, and it has been a significant addition to my fitness routine. As someone who appreciates a thorough warm-up before hitting the weights, I've found this heavy basketball to be an excellent complement to my regimen. The added weight of the ball turns dribbling, passing, and controlling the ball into a challenging yet rewarding exercise, perfectly priming my muscles for the lifting session ahead. What I truly love about this ball is its utility in my post-workout routine. Utilizing it for stretching exercises after a heavy lifting session has not only helped me cool down effectively but also enhanced my flexibility and reduced muscle stiffness. The weighted nature of the ball introduces a slight resistance to my stretches, amplifying their effectiveness and making the stretches more beneficial.By far, the most rewarding aspect for me has been the incredible workout it provides for my wrists and fingers. The additional weight demands greater strength and control to maneuver, which has significantly fortified my wrists and fingers over time. This is especially convenient given that strong wrists are crucial for both weightlifting and everyday tasks.

Good quality training ball
Pumped up the ball to recommended 9 psi. It bounces good, like a regular ball. It is rubber so it has good grip, it's a good size and a good weight.I got this for the kids to build their strength in shooting.

Good quality.
We purchased this as a gift for our teenaged grandson. He's thrilled as it will help his basketball dribbling skills.

Uneven/bubbled After Filling Air
This product was shipped deflated, and squeezed in from the top and bottom. I pumped it with air, to the recommended level, and then tried to use it. The ball was uneven and bumpy/bubbled, especially along the lines where it was squeezed in. There were no instructions on how to fill it, even if there might have been a way to fill it without causing these bumps. These bumps make the ball unusable. It bounces all over the place. Practicing with this ball will make you a worse player. Completely unacceptable and a total waste of money.I rarely ever leave reviews but this was just so bad. I waited a while before reviewing it because I had hoped the bumps would flatten out after playing with it for longer - but the bumps still haven't gone away.At a bare minimum, the manufacturer should have included instructions on how to fill it up, to reduce or eliminate these bubbles/bumps, if a way exists.Do not recommend, at all.

Nice Feel, But a Little Light for Me
I actually do enjoy the texture of this ball, as it feels very sturdy & probably able to be used a ton.For younger athletes, it is a perfect starter to help train & build up strength. But, for older players, it may feel a little bit light.

Works fine but...
Minor imperfection (see picture) and a funny rubber smell, other then that it works alright waiting for the lines to smooth out...
