GroundMasterGeneral Purpose Lawn Garden Grass Seed (5KG)

We order every year to overseed our lawn. Sown a week ago and it already sprout. Very good product.

I’ve never used grass seed before and this product didn’t come with instructions on how best to use it. Did a bit of research just raked the bald patch which had no grass at all due to previous owners fire! and then water over a few weeks. It took longer to grow than I anticipated but is still growing beautifully after a month, lovely thick healthy looking and a lovely green! It’s nicer than the other grass now and I’m so impressed with it I bought another big bag for the front garden. My advice would be to not panic if it doesn’t come as soon as you think it should it took a good month, but was well worth it. I need to now put more seed on this patch of grass to get eveness, this is just to illustrate how it covers a huge patch of mud!

The grass seed is grass seed but the way it's packed makes a difference

2nd lot I've had. First lot grew great.

I planted the seed on the 3rd of September, raked it in and spread more on top. I heeled the seed in and the weather has been warm and wet and in the space of 3 weeks I have the beginning of a luscious lawn! There are small patches where the rain washed the seed down (the lawn is on a slight hill), but I have purchased more seed to cover these patches. Very easy to spread the seeds and as you can see the quality of the grasses are fantastic. The neighbour is impressed and so he is ripping up his lawn and starting from seed. I previously had turf, but the quality of the grass was poor. Hopefully most of the grass will be well spread and developed into next spring (23), for us all to be using it heavily. The photos attached are over a three week period.
