Dog Collar with Blue LED Lights, Multi-Function, Medium

I bought this on sale for about $14 instead of the full price of $30, and it was definitely worth the sales price. It is really nice to be able to see the dog at the park, since it gets dark so early. My only gripes are that the lights could be brighter (you really only see the individual lights, not the full stripe around the collar), and that it is too easy to turn off. The dogs play with each other and easily bump the button to turn the collar off. Still, several of us at the park we usually go to have them, and we are generally happy with them.

When I got this, the collar was exactly what I was wanting. I have a black lab/pitbull mix and I often walk him at night so I wanted to make sure he would be easily visible to drivers. Multi-function worked great and the strobe feature was practically blinding at night. Even walked him in a downpour and it worked beautifully. Granted, by the time we got home it wouldn't turn off but once it dried a little it was back to working order.The catch? The quality of the assembly leaves a lot to be desired. If your dog pulls, even the slightest bit, this thing will short out on you in matter of days or even hours. I managed about 7 or 8 uses out of this collar before it died on me while trying to restrain my dog from getting at another dog.If the wiring were better then this collar would be amazing and a definite recommendation, but it's lifespan is so poor I'd recommend looking for alternatives before purchasing this.

I bought 2 of these collars in different colors to spot my dogs in the yard when they go out at night. These collars are great. The strobe setting is a bit much, but the solid light is nice. They are bright enough to see from a distance, so I no longer have to go outside with our dogs on cold snowy nights.

I read the reviews before I bought this, so I was very careful when I put it on my dog. I mainly used it when he was able to run around in an open space so the leash wouldn't pull on the 'delicate' collar. It worked for about 4 months before all but one light stopped working. There was a short in the wiring, and if I bent the collar the opposite way from it's natural shape, the lights would work. It's not fixable without damaging the stitching and whatever else. I only give this 3 stars because I knew what I was buying. For the 4 months it did work, it was outstanding!

I previously purchased two dog collars with LED lights [small and large]. They are both great and serve its purpose when taking the dogs out to the park in the early morning hours, which is still dark. I purchased the medium-sized dog collar for my son's dog. My son indicated that the lights turn off after 10 minutes of use. (I have owned these collars for less than two months and have not had any problems with them.) Nonetheless, he says it also serves its purpose. He walks his dog late at night and finds the light is a great safety factor. The collars have three light functions. I prefer the steady light function. I would recommend this collar if you walk/play with your dogs when/where lighting is an issue.

The lights on this product quit working the same day I received it. I adjusted the collar to fit correctly then placed it on a small shelf near our homes front entrance where we also keep our pets leash. Everything seemed to be working fine up to this point, though it did hesitate to work at first but then it began working I didn't think much of it at first. Later that evening we put the collar on the dog and took him out with the lights on, it turned on without hesitation this time. However, not 5 minutes after heading out the door the collar just quit working. I tried to take a look at it but wasn't able to get it working so after coming back inside and removing the collar I then took a look again and found that when you move the collar around down near the front of the battery box/switch it would start working until letting it go again.Typical sign of a short in the wiring within the collar itself. I still have yet to tamper with the collar to see if I can repair it as I am busy with work and do not get much time to sleep even. Had the collar not arrived defective it would have been great and useful for us allowing us to let him off the leash as we do during the daytime. He is good about not going into the street, but being able to see him visibly better rather than just relying 100% on trust in him to not stray too far would have been great. Hopefully I can get around to trying to repair it as it was bright for the short time it worked.

After using this product for about 10 days, I noticed that 1 of the LED's had gone out. If you squeezed the color near the LED, it would illuminate again, but immediately go out when you let go. Thinking I had just received a defective product, I requested a return through Amazon and order a replacement (Amazon does not allow direct replacement for items purchased through the Amazon marketplace). The return process was painless, and I was off and running again with the replacement collar. This time, after about 6 weeks of lite use (we remove the color except for when taking the dog on a walking or letting her outside at night), 3 of the LED's stopped working. Again, if you squeeze or bend the color sometimes they would flicker back on, but they would not stay on. Unfortunately I am now beyond the 30 day Amazon return window, and there is no manufacture information regarding a warranty whatesover, nor could I find the maker of this colar anywhere else on the web. So now I am stuck with a color which barely lights up (I'm now down to 1 LED that lights of the original 5), due to very poor quality wiring inside the colar. Although this product worked great while it lasted, a 6-week life span is no acceptable in my book, and it's apparent that this problem was not limited to a single defect, as I observed the same behavior on 2 different collars.
