No more Botox for me!
I was skeptical at first, but Frownies exceeded my expectations. Using them nightly helped relax my forehead and between-the-eyes area, making lines appear smoother over time. They adhere well, feel comfortable while sleeping, and are simple to use. A must-have for natural wrinkle care.

Noticeably smoother forehead by morning
These actually work if you use them consistently. I noticed my forehead looked smoother in the morning and my makeup went on better. Takes a little getting used to, but worth it.

Harder than it looks to use
These are not easy to use at all. So don’t expect an easy fix. The product also has a strong chemical smell that comes from the glue you have to endure while wearing. It’s true, it will hold your skin taut, but consistently wearing these is a challenge. I keep them in the bathroom and it’s hard to separate the pieces when your hands may already be wet. Bottom line, I bought the set, and only used it a few times because I just thought the process was more rigorous than I wanted.. I’ve move onto using retinol and red light therapy which I thinks works better

do these work? yes and no
You can apply with a little bit of tap water or the Frownies rose water. A small amount of water gently spread over each patch creates the residue to become sticky. Place in desired area on face, hold in place for about 10 seconds. When The glue dries it adheres to the skin and hardens. This holds the skin firmly in place keeping it from bunching or creasing. Apply before bed and skin is considerably smoother when you wake. Patches need to be overlapped to provide proper coverage and durability. It takes me about 5-7 minutes for application. About four triangular perforated patches in one sheet. I use 8 patches on forehead and one for each temple area. 10 total a night. Only 2 items of mention....they must be used EVERY SINGLE NIGHT to keep up the effect. By end of day the effects have worn off. Additionally, they are difficult to remove without them pulling on the skin. Heavily wetting them prior to removal does help but I have yet to find the perfect solution. Are they worth it? Yes. Are they permanent? No. It also took about a week of using them every night to really see the results I was looking for and I must continue the nightly routine to maintain those results.

Frownies are the very best solution to minimize 11 lines and forehead wrinkles!
They go on very easily, though there's a bit of a weird smell to get used to. Kinda sticky sweet/ minty maybe? It doesn't really bother me. You just spray them with water and let them get sticky, then apply to forehead. Watch their videos for tips. When the frownies dry, they harden to create a cast on your skin to allow your muscles to relax. Then you keep them on all night and wake up with smoother skin! Consistent use has significantly reduced my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles. They aren't cheap, but are absolutely worth the price.

Mixed results
I have pretty intense 11 lines on my forehead, as well as horizontal creases and mild crow's feet around my eyes. The 11 lines make me self-conscious and I've tried a variety of non-invasive methods to fix them including creams, silicone patches, and adhesive patches like Frownies and Smoothies. I'm in my mid-30s, have never had Botox or cosmetic skin procedures, and am fair skinned with light eyes and spend a good bit of time outdoors (with sunscreen as much as possible, but I still tend to squint a lot in bright light, even with sunglasses and a hat on). If I were to use these every night, I'd probably notice an improvement in my 11 lines, but the Frownies are so uncomfortable, unsightly, and difficult to apply that I use them infrequently. Getting just enough liquid on them so they stick and harden into a shell is challenging - if you put too much or too little on they fall off. I have not tried the branded rosewater spray but I have tried using a spray bottle to mist water onto the patches or dabbing just a bit on with my fingers and the result is always hit or miss. I find I need to press them into my forehead as they dry to ensure they stay on, which takes a few minutes. Once dry, they are pretty hard and stiff, which isn't a huge problem on my forehead but rather irritating around areas where my skin is more sensitive and pulled less taught. Also these come attached to one another in a strip/large patch with perforated edges that you need to rip apart to the proper shape, and I find that the patches don't separate well, often causing a jagged edge or causing the patch to rip and be misshapen, plus you get these little loose scrap triangles of waste material that stick to things in your bathroom. When using the eye patches, the jagged edge and stiff material of the patch is really irritating near my sensitive eye skin. I've never been able to keep Frownies on near my eyes for more than an hour or two without ripping them off. These also look awful. Maybe they'd be less bad if they came in various skin tones but once I put these on you cannot leave the house, take a video call, or anything of the sort. When I use smaller translucent patches, like Smoothies, I can at least step out the door to get my mail, take my dog for a walk around the block where I might wave at a neighbor from a distance, or talk to my husband in the dim light of the TV as we wind down at night before bed without him noticing. He doesn't really care if I look like I have a shell of tan colored tape on my forehead, but I do, and there's no way I feel sexy at all with Frownies on. Since the application process is a bit of an ordeal, you can't just grab these off your nightstand and slap these on seconds before your head hits the pillow for sleep like you might be able to discreetly do with other products. In the morning, they need to be removed by soaking them in water and (generally) cannot just be ripped off your head. Also these are one time use only. I do like that you can piece these together to cover a large part of your forehead in a hardened cast or just choose to focus on the 11 lines between your eyes. The adhesive has been non-irritating to me as well, but I'm not sure if that would be the case if I used these night after night. When applied correctly, I do notice an improvement in my 11 lines in the morning, but it's short lived, since I spend more of my day making facial expressions without these on than sleeping with them on. That's why I think you'd need to use them far more regularly than I do to see results. Using these nightly also negates your ability to use other serums or creams overnight, so I think finding the right treatment for forehead wrinkles is a bit of trial and error. Overall, I think the Frownies are worth trying for 11 lines or forehead wrinkles if you feel like you can commit to wearing them fairly regularly. If you don't plan to wear them consistently, they just aren't worth it at all because you aren't going to see results that last more than a hour when you first wake up. I also would not recommend them for use around your eyes or mouth; in those areas they are just too uncomfortable to wear for the duration needed to see improvement. If you are only concerned with 11 lines (not other forehead wrinkles) and want a more discreet option, I'd recommend Smoothies instead because they are far less conspicuous than these, a bit more comfortable, and have similar results. But Frownies are probably the best "forehead immobilizer" option if you want to cover the entire swath of your forehead and tackle all of your forehead lines without resorting to injectables. You do need to use them consistently though!

My Forehead Is on a Behavior Plan
These look a little odd, but they mean business. They stay on all night and politely remind my forehead to stop overachieving. With consistent use, I’ve noticed things look smoother and more relaxed. Bought the bundle because clearly this is a long-term relationship.

Product works really well. Thank you

They really do help smooth lines. I use them mainly on my forehead and on my elevens but I am not consistent with using them. I think you would have to use them every night to really see a major difference though.
