25 kg Dawn Chorus Berry Suet Pellets For Wild Birds (12.5 kg pack x 2)

The suet arrived on time in two weak cardboard boxes taped together. These were already coming open and splitting. In each box was12. 5kg of suet pellets in the thinnest plastic bags I have seen. It stands to reason that they were coming apart and could not be lifted from the box, which meant that they had to be shovelled out into strong bags. There is also a large amount of crushed pellets.Let's hope that the birds like them more than I do.We have had suet pellets before, but not as poor as these look.

I now have a lot more birds visiting the garden Lots of nesting going on.The birds love these pellets. I have lots of other bird food out for them butthis is what they go for. I have 3 bird baths which I put the pellets in and put some on the ground for the ground feeders.The only thing to remember is don't leave the feeders outside when it rains.as suet tend to end up mushy. I bring in the feeders at night and put them outearly morning. I love this product and will buy again. Worth every penny.

Exactly the same product and brand that I usually lug about 10 x 500gms bags back home with me each time, I now have 25 kilos at a fraction of the cost with none of the bother or backache! Just one thing to make you aware of, ensure that you have adequate storage space as 2 large boxes with thin plastic covers in them takes up a fair bit of space. Well worth sorting out some room though. Will repeat my purchase when I eventually get low, which won't be for a long while yet! Even though the birds in my garden wolf it down. Highly recommend. High energy foods are just what the wildlife expert ordered for cold and damp winter days. Bought as a 25kg pack, I can afford to be generous and the birds have started watching out for me sprinkling these across the lawn.I don't know which flavour the birds prefer, but these ones are flavoured with berries and I feed dried mealworm separately (and other seeds separately) so this is the variety of suet pellets that we buy all the time

I've bought this before - the birds love it. I mix extra in with my bird seed for use in feeders plus also feed neat in bird feeders. It is also a very good price. It comes well packaged, but care is needed in decanting. Make sure you have the box the right way up as the internal bag that holds the suet is very flimsy and cannot be lifted out of its box.

Finally arrived by the last due delivery date although all the other bird feed, ordered at the same time from other suppliers, arrived nearly a week earlier. I do find that particularly during the summer, the suet can clog together, blocking up the bird feeder and requiring a clean. This is why I mix with sunflower hearts and mealworms to assist the flow.

I don't understand why other reviewers are saying that the birds love it! Ever since we put this stuff in the bird feeders none of the birds that regularly visited our garden will toch the stuff, and it is just sitting there rotting. What a waste of money. Perhaps we have a more discerning class of birds visiting us here in Hampshire.Just wondering if we received old stock that is well out of date as it was delivered loose in boxes, so could be years old, though I can't be sure. Although supplied in bulk I would have preferred that it was in sealed bags and not just loose in a cardboard box!!
