This is the second bottle of this shampoo that I've ordered, I loved my first bottle of it so much! Using this shampoo is a very relaxing experience, it has a cooling feel on your scalp which can be so soothing when you have itchy scalp like I do, it has a very subtle but pleasant scent and it lathers up nicely if you rinse and repeat! It leaves my dreads feeling clean and fresh and there's absolutely no residue at all left behind which is amazing. Also you can really tell the company cares about customer experience, both times I've ordered they've sent me 3 wooden dread beads with my shampoo which is such a caring little touch 😊 I highly recommend this and I will definitely be a repeat customer whenever my bottle runs out, it's the best shampoo I've used in my 5 years of my dreadlock journey and I'm very glad to have found it.

I have used this once so far and I am over the moon. I have been using normal shampoo on my dreads up till now and sometimes another known brand of “ dreadlock shampoo “ all have left them feeling greasy and heavy. I woke up this morning to very light, soft and healthy dreads for a change. The smell is pleasant even if it does remind me of disinfectant a little and the delivery had a very small leak maybe the addition of a foil stop under the lid would stop this but just a suggestion as the leak was as I say only very tiny. Over all very impressed with the product so far and I will definitely be trying a few more products from the range. Thank you Raw Roots my dreads feel lovely 🥰.

This is the second shampoo for dreadlocks that we've tried and returned to order more of this. Son has dreads / baby locks and wanted something that doesn't have lots of chemicals or residue. This is does the job really well, enough lather to feel like normal shampoo and smells delicious! A little goes a long way so its lasts well, good value for money. Promptly delivered and well packaged.

The bottle is a little smaller than I expected but it smells absolutely lovely and leaves your hair feeling nice and naturally clean. The only downside is it’s pretty expensive for the amount, especially as someone with knee length dreadlocks, but definitely worth it.

This seems to be the best affordable UK dreadpoo I have found. My hair was nice and light after. I have an old undercut with fake dreads in that I comb out now and then and can see if any residue has built up. I've only used it once but it seems legit and will update if I have any future problems. Edit, I can see I have a lot of build up within my hair, ive only been using this product, so I conclude it is not residue free.

I've tried a few different shampoos for my locs now, and this one is my favourite so far! Smells lovely, left my scalp feeling seriously clean and refreshed; no more itchiness! Just washed my locks with this shampoo and they smell divine!!! I have issues with itchy scalp and have tried a range of dread friendly products with little relief, hoping this shampoo will sort it out, if it does I will be buying more! The shampoo smells lovely and works into a nice lather, I have a loose fringe and have found that some dread shampoos leave it quite oily but this shampoo has left it lovely and light, and it's reasonably priced compared to some of the other products out there! I wiuld definitely recommend =)

Geez! This bottle of shampoo is tiny! The photo is deceiving. My fault for not paying attention to details as it's does say 200ml. It's not much bigger than a bottle of calpol. I was very disappointed by the size of this for the price. It more represents a sample than a full size bottle. I'll just buy shampoo from the supermarkets from now on. This vendor have definitely lost a potential returning customer.
