This product is well constructed. My only criticism is ...
This product is well constructed. My only criticism is that it needed sanding. Some of the areas that needed sanding were rather deep so I chose to to completely sand then out. I also put silicon on top to seal where the roof pieces meet as I imagine that water would go through a small gap I had from them not aligning perfectly. I chose to paint mine. Obviously they do not come painted.

Bird house Save the Day
Well being a wood Craftsman I got lazy took a chance and bought the birdhouse. No regrets, I installed it in one evening, the next day I had birds all through it. Excellent they now removed themselves from my rafters and Entered The birdhouse. I think they missed the birdhouse LOL

Can't wait for Spring
I recieved this in 4 days, way faster than I expected. It came in a Home Depot box which was a surprise. It appears very well made and sturdy, made of cedar as claimed. It is in my storage shed waiting for Spring, and then I will have my husband put it up.

Birdhouse
The picture shows a very smooth wood finish and I did not find that to be true in the house that was sent. It has held up well over the last year. The only issue is that I can't open the boxes to clean out old nests but I knew that when I bought it.

Good design
Good design...Good workmanship and assembly. Just wish the house would come apart to mount to a base. Overall, good job.
