Magic Lips Platinum

I’ve used Magic Lips for about 40 years. I’ve just bought an Apricot (my favourite one) and not only has the packaging changed, but also the lipstick itself.The packaging is impossible to get into with arthritic hands because you have to peel the sticky patterned tape off first, then the glue remains on the actual lipstick cover. The lipstick itself is more stodgy and sticky than before and is now bright peach instead of yellow.The change to the lipstick cover itself is fine if it wasn’t so messy to get into.I’m not sure if I will continue buying them. Thankfully, I only bought 1 this time.Change is supposed to be for the better, but not in this case!

Good stayed on quite well.

I have used Magic Lips for years, comes in white simple container. New packaging confused at first. Almost impossible to take off the plastic sealing and leaves very sticky finish unless you are fortunate enough to have Acetate in the house. I never why, when a product is good, there is a need to waste money (ultimately hiking the price) to repackage or redesign. I prefer to old packaging.

This lipstick is not suppoed to come off, but it does and not as long lasting as they claim.i had it some years ago and then it lived up to it's claim and lasted and did not mark a cup when you drank, which is more than you can say for it now.Perhaps the formula has been changed. Shame as it was a good lipstick. It is now, but does not have the staying power.

I have been using the products happily for over 30 years in the previous white plastic containersI’ve just received an order with their new packaging and it was very hard to remove the label to open the lipstick. The outside of the lipstick container was left with a very heavy sticky residue which washing up liquid and nail varnish, don’t remove.
