I was skeptical but now I’m a fan. If you’ve got a decent heat gun, these work very well. I still cover them with wire shrink

These connectors, with care, solve issues with the old crimp system. They are lighter duty and care must be used not letting wire fibers penetrate the plastic tube but on the plus side, they are very quick to use and can stand current flows equal to the wire being used if matched properly. They are much faster to set up and add water proof connections and a much cleaner look to your work.

These solder butte connectors work very well once melted the wires are extremely unlikely to come apart. They are quite easy to use and the waterproof of the joint is a great plus. The size of the connectors allow for most normal wires size wires to be joined. The shrink about double what they are supposed to do that was great..

These things make a great connection. I did add another layer of heat shrink tubing for added strength. But I don’t think it was necessary. Love these things and will buy more when needed
