Rago Style 1359 - Open Bottom Girdle Firm Shaping

I have an issue with a lower tummy pooch only (the rest of my stomach is fine) and most girdles don't have control low enough and hit me all wrong but THIS IS PERFECTION!!! instant flat stomach!! I have a 32" waist and 46" hips and because of my shape i usually order smaller than things state...but this time, based on reviews, i ordered a 3x and I'm so happy i did! Its firm enough...very firm...but also not uncomfortable! This has been exactly what I've been looking for my entire life! They have a loyal customer for life now <3 oh and i also don't wear nylons so i cut the clips off and it works just fine without them! I'm sure it scoots up a little bit but not so much that it isn't still functional without being clipped. I personally don't mind...

This is a well made garment but I am so disappointed in it! First off it barely covered my lady bits. I am 5'7" and this was so short. I don't even think it fully covered my bottom and the garter straps were clearly visible under clothing and we so high up it was just bad. Also, while it provided slimming in the tummy it also flattened out my bottom so much it was unflattering. I ordered a Large after reading that it ran small, maybe I should have gone up to an XL? I am a size 28 in jeans, 39.5" hips, 29.5" waist. Maybe the XL would not smoosh my butt so much?

Size: 6XLWaist: 40"Hips: 51"I bought this hoping for a more substantial version of a garter belt -- I don't like shapewear, but I find that regular garter belts (the kind that just go around the lower belly/hips) tend to roll and scrunch on me because of the way I'm built.The 6XL fit exactly the way I wanted it to: snug without being tight. It's really no more restrictive than control-top pantyhose -- better, actually, because it's open at the bottom -- and it doesn't roll or shift, even when I do bends and stretches on purpose to test it. I find I can move quite comfortably and I don't feel squashed or overly "shaped" at all; also, since it sits at my natural waist, I don't have bulging above the waistband. The grips are strong and feel reliable, though I haven't done a full day yet.If you want firm shaping, this isn't really for you, though it'll smooth you out a bit. It's just a very functional garment for holding up your stockings.

I had to go way up in sizingbfrom my usual size. I just wanted a smooth midsection that the less wide belts weren’t giving me. My problem with this garment is that the little button tab fasteners of the farters keep coming off. I reattach the rubbery tab with safety pins so i can use the garment but it is unsightly and terribly disappointing.

I think there are two different products being received, as some reviews refer to a zipper and/or removable stocking belts. Mine has neither. It's a little small but I can pull it on with effort and it does flatten everything. It's a shame the belts are not removable because I could wear it a lot more. If I had known it didn't have them I'd just have bought a regular shape wear locally.

fits perfectly( just make sure you go by their chart size)If you have a tummy,it will pull it in but if you decide to size down be prepared for muffin top unless you have a short torso(i'm 5'7 175.

This is great open bottom girdle. It provides nice shaping and is comfortable enough for daily wear. I also like that it has 6 garters.

I wear sizes 12-14 and I got a 4X and it fits comfortably and snugly, but not too tight.

I had never heard of Rago products but I feel very glad I found them. The girdles I purchased are excellent both in value and fitin fact, I intend purchasing some more soon.

A good quality garment , with reliable size info , but note that the fabric is stretchybut not Spandex soft.

Too small cuts into legs leaving a noticeable mark
