Amazing Bass - Mids, Nice Sound with Excellent Adjust-ability. Super pleased.
I installed this as part of a full maker over sound system for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I pretty much ripped every stock component (Factory front 6 3/4" and tweeter, Speaker Bar 6 3/4" and tweeter). I used a 10.2" Dasaita Head Unit with NVW 5 Channel Amp (did not buys those on Amazon), and did purchase the Pioneer TS-WX70DA powered amplifier along with JBL GTO609C Component Mid-Woofer & Tweeter that I installed in the front pods and rear overhead Soundbar.About the Pioneer TS-WX70DA powered sub-woofer:Dislikes: The instructions are pretty basic without any real technical information. And there is nothing really available on Google despite the fact that this powered sub-woofer has been available for several years. Strange. That is really all that I was not too impressed with in terms of the Pioneer TS-WX70DA.Likes: It's solid, and has some heft to it. It came really well packaged in a thick cardboard box with plenty of styrofoam protection. I installed the unit on the backside of my rear seats, with the included straps and brackets. So basically it is "hanging" from the back top side of the rear passenger seats. It holds and stays in place with the straps, I was surprised it would, but it works. And it's out of the way (very minimal trunk space intrusion).I used the line outputs from my rear speakers, as per the Youtube Video from Pioneer (you can hook it up to any vehicle) which didn't tell you how, but it pretty basic in nature. So the unit is tapping in to the rear soundbar JBL Component Speakers, and it works without creating any "issues" or affecting the soundbar speakers. Bass is bass, and whether you get it from line outputs from factory speakers or the RCA output the quality of the sound is pretty much the same to my ears. After hooking up everything, I must say the quality and the type of bass is really, really satisfying. It hits, it fills up the bottom end, it doesn't rattle license plates, and to me it doesn't tire you out listening at high volume levels (depending on whether you activate the bass boost or not) .I love it, I really really love it. The amount of bass and frequency is adjustable to suit any music type. I love the quality of the bass, and does what a subwoofer should do and that it integrates itself to the overall speaker system doing it's part and not overpowering. Powering on the Head Unit does not cause any "noise" or blips or pops, the Pioneer is an Excellent piece and quality component. For what you get, and how well it works, it's music to my ears. It doesn't rob you of valuable trunk space and it produces satisfying and fulfilling bottom end.I do believe there is nothing in this price range that combines Sub Woofer and Amplifier in one, and performs this well with the inherit design advantage of not taking up a lot of space. It's a home run, and on Amazon at this price, you can't go wrong. If I could give it 5+ stars, I would.

Very impressive
Just installed this in my RSX hatchback and I have to say it exceeded my expectations by a mile. I've installed tons of stereos with tons of subs in the 90's and early 00's and while I'm 40 now and don't want all the bass I did when I was younger i still want SOME! I have the gain up a quarter of the way and the boost on my cd receiver subwoofer pre-out +1 and it sounds fantastic. Great lows and nice kick. It only draws 10 amps from the battery so you don't get the dim headlights or the need for a capacitor. Absolutely love it and it's a steal for the price on Amazon.

Great sound, but few minor flaws.
Things that I like:1. The bass is clear and gives you great sound without annoying people around you.2. Was really easy to install. Mainly because I had an amp with power splitter in the back, so I didn't have to route everything to the battery.3. Works great pointing the port towards the corner of my trunk. What could be worked on:1. Tie down straps are not sturdy, so when you pull on it to tie it down they un-clasp. I would recommend that they use a two ring tiedown or even 1 1/2 inch velcro with rivets/screws to tied down.2. The remote has a really weird cut out point when the bass is up and you turn the gain down a little to reduce the amount of bass it cuts out at the 1/4 turn mark. Making it all or nothing (I like to fine tune sometimes with certain songs). (To offset this I am going to adjust the gain on my car speakers to add more mids and highs) I wish you could adjust it like an equalizer. Maybe I am doing something wrong, so if someone has ideas on how to fix this I would appreciate it.Overall, for the price you can't beat it. Make sure you check the dimensions of the unit prior to ordering. Though it may look like an under seat unit, it definitely isn't. It would work great behind the seat of a truck or in the trunk, but is skinny enough to leave a small footprint and allow you to still have room for other items.

Stealth, good bass, great value!
Two of these fit perfectly in the rear hatch floor of an 07-14 Honda Fit. The bass from two units is about as loud as a single 12” sub in a ported enclosure. The controls are easy to use, and the amplifiers draw very little current. The best part is when covered with the optional trunk mat they are invisible. It’s like there is no sub at all.

Great sub with great sound
I purchased this to add some bass to my factory system. It sounds great and ftis behind the seat of my 2019 F-150 without sacrificing floor space. The seat still folds up as it should. I installed this myself and it came with all the needed wiring. I'm very satisfied with the sound and ease of install.

Deep distortion free bass / flexible .
If you have a late model F-150 and you want to install this beast behind the seat , this is your perfect sub , the seat will go up all the way with no problem , the build in amp only uses 10amps and it can be use with oem unit speaker out puts or a digital processor, plus you get a wire remote for adjustment from your seat . This unit will smoke the kicker 8 inch mini sub and Alpine .

I would not recommend this for someone who wants to feel deep hard ...
Installed in my wifes 07 jeep commander. It works but your not really gonna feel the bass from 2 6 1/2 subs. Controller works well . I would not recommend this for someone who wants to feel deep hard hitting bass. This is more like having better sound overall .

Very musical
Very pleased with the musicality of this sub. If it’s punch you in the gut/rattle the car next to you bass you are looking for, look elsewhere. If you are looking to extend the bottom end, this will do it! Mine is behind the seat of an older Chevy single cab truck (1987). Fits well and definitely extend the bass response. Very musical. I ran a tone generator and get good response to the lower 30’s. If you have reasonable expectations from two 6” subs this unit will surprise you.
