The best water cooler
Solid and dependable, this water cooler is excellent. The cold is quite chilled, tho I have not used the hot yet. Very Quiet. I bought the "used-like new" unit and it has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Too loud
It stopped working after 3 months. Way too loud compared to my previous one.

Water cooler
We have only had this cooler for four days however so far this must be the top of the line. It so quiet, the water real cold . The coolers looks nice in the kitchen. The black color fits in with the other appliances.

After modification, it WORKS for Avalon A1-C watercooler!
I'm really impressed by the filtration system on this "5 gallon" water cooler bottle. The water tastes pretty amazing. Although, it really holds more like 3 gallons. I purchased an Avalon A1-C watercooler from Sam's Club. Sam's Club only seems to carry the Avalon brand watercooler. But when I placed the 5 gallon jug on top of the watercooler, the 5 gallon bottle did not sit level on top of the watercooler and water did not drain into the watercooler. The problem is that there are two raised edges on the Avalon watercooler connector plate (see pic #1). These two raised edges prevent the 5 gallon bottle from sitting flat and draining properly. I contacted the company and they had no solution other than to buy another brand of watercooler that is compatible (e.g., Avanti or Aquverse). So I decided to modify the 5 gallon bottle coupling so it would fit my watercooler. Essentially, I cut two 5mm wide slots on the coupling (pic #2) and it worked perfectly! To make this modification:1. Take the coupling and place it over the watercooler connecter (you must remove the splash guard first - the plastic spike is connected to the splash guard ).2. Using a Sharpie, make two marks on the coupling at the location where the two raised edges. Make the Sharpie marks on the edge of the coupling. (Doing this step assures that your two slots will be roughly 180 degrees apart.)3. Use a utility knife to cut two 5mm slots on the coupling edge where you made the Sharpie marks. (Tip: Use a new blade on your utility knife.)I hope this helps someone out there!

so good i bought another
I researched these water dispensers and settled on the Aquverse for my reception area. It has done so well I bought one for my office. I agree the hot water spigot seems a little flimsy, but haven't had any problem. I'm considering buying a third for home. Fully and completely recommend this unit.
