BEST RETINOL FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
I've studied and read about retinol so I know it does great things for skins but I have very sensitive skin so I usually end up not using it and just stays stocked up in my make-up drawer. But this retinol is great for sensitive skin too. It has not caused any redness or irritation and I use it everyday!! Must try!!

Lightweight
The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using a retinoid and I've heard that retinoids can be drying, but this is not drying at all. It works fine with my usual skincare routine. I have sensitive skin too but no breakouts so far. I make sure to use just a tiny bit. Easy to control the amount as well.

Soft texture and a satisfying container design.

Good for fine wrinkles
I've seen softening in my wrinkles and fine lines after using this. I showed this to my friend who is a derm and she thinks the ingredient list looks good. The price is quite affordable too.

Burned
Extremely drying. Couldn’t be returned so it went in the trash.

Reasonable cream. Expensive. Worth it?
I’m a surgeon, but even though I’m a medical doctor I don’t really know a lot about skin care except that moisturizer and sunscreen are both good ideas. Having said that, I do know that skin care products are a huge business and, similar to supplements and vitamins, they can make a lot of marketing claims that are essentially nonsense.Probably better than any review I can do for this product, the best thing I can do to help you is to encourage you to do some research on your own about the skin care industry and/or read the book “The Skincare Hoax: How You're Being Tricked into Buying Lotions, Potions & Wrinkle Cream” (https://www.amazon.com/Skincare-Hoax-Tricked-Lotions-Potions/dp/1510771557?&linkCode=sl1&tag=kevcom-20&linkId=35a8adaf01f702fdea9b76a3f329a1de&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl).Retinoids are derivatives of Vitamin A (retinol), and, in multiple studies, have been shown to reduce “fine wrinkles” in skin and help with anti-aging processes. The issue, though, is that it will take weeks to start working and some people can have reactions to the chemicals. Also, from what I gather, the over-the -counter forms of these products are not regulated by the FDA (ie - the manufacturers may not be putting in their products exactly what they say they are). There are prescription forms of tretinoin (Renova) that are regulated by the FDA.For me, the cream seems reasonable. It’s a little thicker than other skin creams, but this isn’t a problem. Doesn’t really have much of a scent. Goes on smoothly. Works just fine. What I don’t know, is how much better for my skin (either the health or the cosmesis) is this product vs regular moisturizer (like Jergen’s lotion), which is about 70x (that’s not a typo) less expensive? The issue with these products is always the price; they are expensive. This one is $22.66 an ounce which puts it on the upper end of the products I browsed on Amazon searching “retinol cream,” and much, much higher than regular skin cream.I’m happy to try this out for Amazon Vine, but they like us to get the reviews in quickly, and it would likely take a month or 2 before I noticed any difference (assuming I use it regularly). Optimally, I would use it on one side of my face and not the other and take before and after photos 1 or 2 months later.Like most things, I think if you are concerned about the wrinkles on your face or the aging process of your skin I would talk to a dermatologist. Although it’s more time, money, and effort initially, in the long run you will likely get better results with what they suggest. If you don’t want to do this professionally, and just want to “wing it” with unregulated, over-the-counter creams that have retinol derivatives, then I think I would recommend something cheaper. That way, if it doesn’t really help, you’re not out as much.
