Too much maintenance involved
I'm not loving this bandana scarf. Yes, it's cute. It's a 100% cotton. The material will feel stiff and scratchy when you receive it, but will soften up after you wash it. So, why 3 stars? Well, it's an uber light material which is somewhat sheer (even the darker colors). I suppose you can wear a liner underneath but that defeats the purpose of wearing something that is supposed to be breathable. Also, the bandana wrinkles up after you wash it. It will need to be ironed. It also catches lint. There's just too much maintenance involved. This is the only scarf that I've purchased from this company that I've truly been disappointed with. I've bought many other styles that I love. I've only had to send one back because it was too tight of a fit. This one fit well, but I wouldn't buy it again. It's just not a good covering for those like me who need to cover up hair loss due to chemotherapy.

Slightly darker than imagined; good quality
I work in foodservice, and choose to use headscarves instead of traditional hats or hairnets. When I first held this pre-teen bandana, it felt rather light and I was worried the material would be too thin. However, the grey is fairly dark and nothing (none of my hair) shows through, even under direct lighting. I've only worn it several times, so I can't comment as to the durability, although I can say it's rather stretchy, and if you have a smaller head, it may be too large. I like to wear bandanas and similar items tucked under my ears, so that my ears are showing, and this is too big to let me do that comfortably. I have very thick hair and so sometimes I have to re-tie it during a shift, but this item holds it all back fairly well. I could see myself even wearing my hair partially down with this as an accessory, when I'm not at work.I give this four stars now because I'm not sure about the durability, but if it manages to last for at least a year of light to moderate wear, then I will be very happy with it.

The price is great and shipping was fast
This is a cute scarf. Fabric seems a bit scratchy, but it may soften after washing. I was expecting a bandana pattern on softer material, but it is actually stiff bandana fabric. It's also a bit big. I tried it on and was able to make it work, but it's big on me. The price is great and shipping was fast. Will work for most people, but if you have a sensitive scalp this might not be the best option.

Perfect scarf after chemo
This pre-tied bandana scarf is just what I've been looking for. I lost my hair to chemo, and when it was cold I wore winter hats and couldn't go out much anyway. Now that its getting warmer, these are perfect. I tried the bandanas you have to tie yourself but never got them to look quite right. These just slip on your head and you're good to go. I have purchased them in many colors. They feel just a little stiff when they arrive but with wear or a hand wash they soften up. Definitely happy with this purchase!!

Second-time customer.
I wore a hat like this 2-1/2 years ago following deep brain surgery and found it to be very attractive, to fit well and to be very comfortable. Now I have purchased this similar hat for somebody who is shortly to undergo the same surgery. I am hoping that she will find it as useful as I did.

Stays in place with lots of hair inside
Bought this to cover my hair while doing yard work or anything else that would get my hair dirty. I have a lot of hair and it's pretty thick. I put it in a ponytail and the bandanna just stayed on the whole time.

Lightweight chemo bandana
I lost my hair to chemo and when it was really cold, I wore ski hats and was happy with that. Now that it's getting warmer that's not practical. I tried a variety of lightweight scarves and hats, and this is my favorite. It is very thin so it doesn't overheat my head! Plus it looks cute. It's already tied so I just slip it on. It's casual and fashionable. I bought it in 3 colors!

Bought this item in three colors, as I’m undergoing radiation and I guess I just don’t have the gumption to go out in public with my bare head! I look a little Golum, if you’re a Lord if the Rings fan! These scarves come pre-folded into a bandana and have elastic at the back. The scarf fits securely, and the colors are true and rich. The fabric is a little stiff, and there is a faint chemical odor, so I washed all three colors I received in cold water and ran them through the dryer on low, and that solved the stiffness and odor, and they laundered fine.
