Great moisturizer, but not so great aroma
This is an excellent moisturizer. It has cured my dry skin problem on my elbows which I've had for years. I'm not crazy about the smell though. It doesn't really smell like roses to me or vanilla, but it's not a bad smell, just not a good one either in my opinion. It's hard to describe what it smells like exactly and the smell is potent. I like it because it works well and it's 100% natural. If you have really dry skin you might want to give this a try.

Love it. My only critique is that it has more of a coco butter smell than Vanilla or Rose.

Hugely Disappointing
Well, this was a VERY disappointing purchase. I was looking for a really good, cruelty-free hand cream. This had good reviews, but I have no idea why! It is a kind of greasy wax - not really what I would call a hand 'cream' at all. The wax smears all over your hands without really sinking in, despite much rubbing and smoothing. It doesn't feel as though it is moisturising at all - more putting a barrier of grease over your skin, a bit like Vaseline. I like a hand cream that is rich and creamy and sinks in well, leaving my hands feeling nourished and soft. This does none of those things! Hands still feel dry, but with a veneer of grease. To make matters worse, the Vanilla & Rose type smells of neither vanilla nor rose, but more of a kind of slightly woody smell that I don't like much. It's not horrible, just not at all what one would expect from something claiming to be Vanilla & Rose. At £26 a pot, it's not cheap either so I have wasted a significant amount of money - please don't waste yours!
