Added security to protect your investment
Why spend close to $1000 for a generator just to have someone with a hacksaw cut through the handle in 30 seconds and make off with it? This won’t stop anyone that’s determined, but it’ll sure slow them down or make them look for an easier target.

What a joke!
Of course my item was delivered and the (custom Allen wrench) was not included in the box! So I figured I would try a regular Allen wrench......fits it perfect! so any tweaker that has an Allen wrench can take the security bracket off and bye bye generator So my tip to you is buy some JB Weld after you install and cover both ends of the screw

Does NOT fit EU2200i out of the package!
This is not a theft deterrent at all. A minor inconvenience to any nutter who really wants to take it. All you need is an Allen wrench, which by the way, a HOLLOW Allen key tool? Really?? Trying to save weight or something? Make it more aerodynamic while you're at it. Would not buy again for theft deterrent reasons as it is not.Does NOT fit the EU2200i. One side fits, the other side does not line up for the bolt. Takes a LOT of adjustment so get the wrench, hammer and vise ready to correct the inherent failure points displayed in this product.Does add some stability to the handling of the generator though. Large hands and increased handle size allows for better maneuverability tossing the genny around. Waiting to see if it it makes the indicated rattle noise others had indicated. Most likely will need additional adjustment to alleviate that ailment as well.

Asset is a deterrent for theft only.
The screws to attach require a standard allen wrench. This is the fault. It indicates it must be a special wrench due to the small spike in the middle of the wrench hole, however the spike is not long enough to make a difference. It should be at least flush to the top of the special screw, to cause a problem. I filled the wrench hole after attaching to make it difficult to remove. This should not have been necessary. Beyond this, seller delivered promptly and intact. Problem is with type of screws, not the actual Security Bracket.

Took some work to get it to fit
It's supposed to fit the Honda EU2000i but I found it a bit too small. I was able to spread it wider to fit over the handle and it now "fits". It is a heavyweight steel bracket so it would take some work sawing through it, but it still leaves a vulnerable area that can be sawed through, unless Honda has something under the plastic to prevent it, in which case why did I need this bracket? Another 'but' is that anyone can remove it with an allen wrench.

One of the integral bolts was easy to insert and tighten
The bracket works as intended as long as it fits. Mine was either bent or poorly designed. One of the integral bolts was easy to insert and tighten. The other? Not so much. I had to force the bracket down on to the generator handle with a large pair of pliers while inserting the bolt. After some struggle, it finally worked. And, yes, I tried reversing the handle and that didn't hepI'm not sure if this is a design flaw, a manufacturing flaw, or my generator (the Honda 2200i) casing was not molded to spec. It could also be that the 22000i handle has slightly different dimensions that the older 2000 design. In any event, the installation was aggravating and not helped by the fact that there were no instructions--not even a simple heads up showing which side of the bracket faces forward. And although it eventually worked, I'm not happy about violating one of the cardinal rules of assembly: Don't force anything.

Modification needed
It's doesn't fit unless you are willing to bend things up some. Took me about 20 mins of tweaking to get it to fit right on the genny handle. That said, once mounted, it offers as good of protection as others.FYI- this is not a fail safe measure. You'd have to spend way over $100 to really secure your genny.....I see as a way to deter thieves looking for an easy score....but that's about it.

Did not fit Honda EU 2000 I
Item first appears to be identical to another Honda anti theft bracket purchased from another seller and installed previously on my other EU 2000I, however slight variances in the bracket fabrication prevent it from seating onto the gen handle correctly. This caused the bolts to bind against the Gen handle which is molded into the Gen case and prevented the bolts from threading. I was preparing to leave on a trip and decided to do some grinding on the handle and bracket to make it fit enough that the bolts could be threaded. I'm certain the bracket was correctly oriented on the handle and that this is a bracket fabrication problem.
