This Hamburger Press Is So Helpful
We buy bulk 90% 10% lean gr beef.I bought the Hamburger Patty square sheets of paper off Amazon.I tried making the hamburger patties in this Hamburger Press, and they truly stuck to the press and were a disaster to remove from the press.Took the hamburger out, washed and dried the press, then sprayed with pan spray, and tried to press a patty. To no avail. ( This MAY be contributed to the lack of fat content due to the gr beef we buy is more like gr chuck)Removed the gr beef from press & cleaned and dried the press. Then I took a hamburger paper and lined the press, put the gr beef in the center, and another piece of hamburger paper on top, pressed er down good, then grabbed ahold of the lower paper and pulled the pressed patty right out, turned the pattie over and straightened out the paper ...AND..." Viola, a beautiful shaped gr beef patty ready to vaccum pack for freezer.😉This method using the ground beef papers cut the prep time to a minimum. Was completely done with 45 hamburgers within about 40 minutes or so. Including the foodsaver vaccuming. This technique would be just as quick if preparing for grilling.Hope you will consider this idea, no matter your gr beef preferance. ✋☺

Works for veggie patties, though not without sticking problems
We don't eat meat. Rather, I bought this for shaping veggie burger patties, made from things like beans, grains, and vegetables. Well, mixtures like this simply do not come out smoothly in this press, and the more moist the mixture, the bigger the mess. I find, however, that if I line both parts with waxed paper (extending all the way up the sides of the base part), I can lift the patties out. It makes for a messy job (though the press itself is easy to clean), but it's worth it if you like nicely shaped patties that are larger than you can shape well by hand.

awesome
Works well when used with plastic wrap. We freeze our burgers for later use, so using plastic wrap works great.

The perfect burger
Easy to use and now we have the perfect size burgers. I bought the precut wax papers to place in it so the meat wouldn’t stick. As with any burger press you will need those. Best burger press out there

Still sticks
My quest for a truly non-stick patty press continues. I had high hopes for this one, but unless I'm doing it wrong, the meat sticks to the mold.

Great product
Love this product

Mostly useful.
I want 2 oz 5" hamburgers for a wide and thin patty on the standard slices of white bread. I use a small 5" sauce pan to cook them individually. This flattens the burger to the right size but it is a bit of work.
