A great boonie! Wanted one that covered back of neck from sun, since "standard" boonies don't cover that area very well. After two months of wear during hiking and camping excursions, seems to be quite durable, and provides ample protection from sun. Although I ordered the beige color, it appears to be more of a shade of olive drab. Notice on sizing: My head is about 7 1/4" and it is a very snug fit. If your head is larger, I believe it may be too small for you. Overall, it fit my specific needs, it is comfortable, and I wear it for all my outdoor activities. I may order the green/gray one, too. Highly recommend only if your head size is 7 1/4" or less.

I bought this hat for my trip to Costa Rica and I love it! I will without a doubt be using it for future travels. It does a great job of protecting from the elements without sacrificing breathability. It is also very light, easy to pack, and quick to dry.

This is a well-made hat, good ventilation but good sun coverage as well. Definitely for smaller heads, is snug on me ( I'm a petite female) but wont fit on hubby's noggin, and he's not that big of a guy , I would say he has an average head .

I would give this a higher rating, but unfortunately I just can't. I ordered this had and was really impressed once it got here. My son and I are going on a Boy Scout trip soon and where we are going, sun protection is must. My wife liked this hat much better than the one she ordered for my son from Lands End and asked me to order another. Mind you, this was within a week of me ordering my own and I ordered the exact same color...My son's got here yesterday and while I was still at work, he opened it and removed all the tags (ripping one in the process) so it can't be returned. Teenagers!Now, there's nothing really "wrong" with the hat, but the headband liner as well as the support pieces in the top are a completely different color. These parts on my hat are a dark brown that blends quite nicely with the green/grey. My son's is an off-white. It makes the edge of the liner that rests between the hat and forehead stand-out in an ugly way. Worse, that light color is sure to quickly stain with sweat.My wife suggested I return it and get another, specifically asking for the brown liner again. I told her no for a couple of reasons... tag was ripped, and I'm sure this is because it's made in China at a couple of different factories and there is no guarantee which one you'd get. I got lucky with the first one, not so much with the second.BUT... for the price it's a decent hat. It is very light and the fabric repels water (no, it's not water "proof," but it helps). Just know when ordering, the sweatband color is inconsistent and that's a quality control issue. I accept that many, many products are made in China because of cost control, but lazy quality control is inexcusable.

Build quality is at least as good as expected, this thing will last for a few years easily. The little poppers to hold up the brim sides are great if you want to feel like a cowboy (both sides) or an Aussie bushman (one side), leave the brim alone if you like to look like you're working in the garden, not hunting wallaby. The chin strap is too short to be useful slinging the hat on your back when not in use, it feels like you are being choked, it works ok for keeping the hat on your head if you are gardening in a wind tunnel or something; I store it in the crown of the hat so it doesn't get in the way.The size came up a little snug for my giant melon of a head but there is enough give in it that it loosened after a couple of wears. Be aware you can't machine wash this hat, something to be aware of if you are either a sweaty person or a messy gardener (I seem to be both!). A little laundry soap in a sink of cold water has kept it clean so far but I'd be happier if I could throw it in the machine with the rest of my grubby gardening clothes.All in all a great hat, I shall be buying another in a different color so I can coordinate with all of my grass stained gardening clothes. Yes I like it that much!

He is pretty picky about what he wears. Well, great news! He absolutely loves his new hat! He wore it all weekend gardening 🌻☀️🌻 Great fit, color, fabric and quality for sure! I've had this hat for just over two months, and used it only a few times so far. The hat itself seems to be functional, with a wide brim and several ways to wear it. It offers lots of protection from the sun. Unfortunately, with only a few uses, the vent holes have started to rust (apprently from my sweat) and have stained the fabric around them. It looks pretty cheap and tacky with rust stains, so...if you're looking for a functional hat for cutting grass or working in the garden - this could be it. If you are easily embarrassed by stains and unsightly discoloration - maybe spend a little more on a better quality product. Too bad the manufacturer couldn't spend a few extra cents and use stainless steel for the four vent holes.

The hat arrived before the estimated delivery date, it was very well packaged. It has very useful plastic zipped bag, ideal for storing the hat in my fishing bag, where it will stay clean and odour free. I am over the moon with this hat, as it is very well made, functional, looks smart and also offers gtood sun protection and it will also stay on my head when fishing in strong winds because of it's chin strap.

Great for protecting from sun. Easily folded for keeping handy in a bag. Toggle helps hat stay in place on breezy days while eyelets allow head to breathe. Nice design and good quality material. Comes in a handy zip lock pouch for storing.

This sun hat is Brilliant I purchased this as my husband works out in all weathers and he wanted something that would cover all areas including the back of his neck, I would recommend this to anyone who wants or requires full cover from the sun.

I really like this hat, and have worn it a lot in the last 2 years, but metal fixings did start showing rust soon after first outing in rain shower on the coast. Still wearing it though :)

Perfect for keeping the sun from my face & the back of my neck. I have fair skin and needed something with a big brim that didn't make my head too hot. Not exactly high fashion but I bought it for the function rather than the looks.
