This is just the right size for my smaller patio the width of a terrace house. It holds a lot of clothes.Looks good and is robust.

Had this a few months now. It works well. I do find you have to pack it away carefully as otherwise the lines loop over each other. The ratchet at the top as you raise the line is quite stiff, some days It is quite hard to push the line up enough to catch on the top of the bracket. However, it takes a full 8kg washing machine load. The height is great for me as I'm not that tall.

I have had this 11 month and it has snapped so is not any use now. It has been good until now but this is disappointing.

Nice quality product at a great price but not so big, I should have measured. For a large family maybe want bigger. This is ideal smaller garden. However it doesn’t cause me a risk when putting it up as not so big that all the cord goes around my neck. Fitting was interesting as had existing hole so what I did was cut a length of 20mm white household waste pipe and put that into the existing concrete hole not quite deep enough and used a piece of wood over it and then hammered it in. The fitting now fits exactly without wobble and no need for me to concrete yet or probably ever. They recommend 40cm deep so best follow that advice but at moment this solution seems fine for me. Instructions say can put into ground w/o concrete but it would be temporary solution. Ok so not so big but not then dangerous. It’s good quality and ver easy to use unlike the last huge one. I recommend this but you have to decide if big enough for you. What a price, some are 3 or 4 times as much so I am happy for now
