Nice looking belt, but...
This belt is very attractive in appearance although a bit flimsy. I've been wearing it now since I purchased it but it took some doing, why you ask? It's because it STINKS BAD. It smells like one of those HOT TAR trucks, strong smell of diesel fuel, not sure what you can do about that, unfortunately had to keep it out in the garage for the first month because the smell emanated into my room and made my wife sick.

Good Belt - but picture is misleading.
One the positive side, this is a very sturdy feeling, high quality, dark brown belt. On the negative side, the picture displayed shows a kind of multicolored look - with traces of black in the finishing. There's none of that on my belt. I know there can be variations but mine is just a solid dark brown, so I feel a bit misled. I'll keep it, because it's a well-made, decently priced belt. My guess is they took a picture of the prettiest one, but don't expect this exotic look.

Very Attractive But Not Great Quality
This belt looks really nice but is not made with the best leather so I wouldn't expect it to last. Out of the box, it's gorgeous. But like most belts made today, it's pieced together from reprocessed leather scraps which don't hold up well to use. I would expect it to be the kind of belt that looks good for a year or two if worn regularly. That said, it's priced reasonably and is beautiful. That's why I'm giving it three stars. I was tempted to give it four. If you're satisfied with a belt that will look good for just a year or two, consider this a four-star review. I'm not returning mine because I do like it a lot. But if you want something that will really stand the test of time, find a retailer who sells real leather products (sometimes called whole grain). Real strips of leather tanned and fashioned into products. One can spend hundreds of dollars on a really fine belt but I've also found good ones on Amazon (Hank's Belts) for as little as $45. I've given their products five star reviews.

Tough belt for a tough gut
5 STARS: This is a tough belt for tough guts. I had all my stomach muscles cut at age 17 for cancer 37 years ago and they healed back as 1 solid muscle so I don't get 6 pack abs. I have a belt busting gut and am tired of watching all the holes enlarge into the next hole. Big styled belt has more girth than my Levi belts for jeans.3 STARS: I agree with one poster who said there's not as much black coloring on the belt as in the picture. The belt is solid brown with a fine edge of black around the entire perimeter, like it was edge dipped in darker stain. Still nice but misrepresented by picture which sets false expectations unnecessarily for a good belt otherwise. My buckle is already showing wear after 2 weeks with a copper color coming through underneath. Some rustic wear can be nice over time but now it looks chipped up. I bought a dark brown and light brown belt anticipating my gut breaking it in a couple months but can hardly tell them apart. I do think they'll last longer than most belts I've bought after 2 weeks of wearing them. The darker belt is lighter than pictured and the lighter belt is darker than pictured so very similar.I recommend these belts if you want a tough guy belt and aren't so hooked up on color variations and expect more black styling with the browns. Personally, I wouldn't consider these dress belts as the color chips off the buckle in high wear areas.

I really like the belt. Especially the screw and buckle approach...
3-21-2017, Revision A:I really like the belt. I especially like the screw attachment to the buckle approach. This means instead of adding holes in the belt, as one does normally (leather stretches or if you loose weight). That instead you can dissemble the buckle end, cut the amount of inches in excess (in my case 4 inches (I'm a 38 and I ordered a 38-40), re-drill the hole for the screw assembly, and put it all back together.Needed tools:-- Med/ Large straight blade (standard) screwdriver-- Heavy duty scissors or heavy wire cutters-- Ruler or tape measure-- Drill and 5/32th bit-- Sliver sharpie (or other stand out color ageist black or the brown color of the belt)Here how it works. Near the buckle, there is this rivet looking dark bronze piece. On the back side of the belt, there is a -- blade (standard/ straight) screw head (apposed to the + (Philips) type screw head). Unscrew the screw and the hole thing comes a part. Don't over cut/ shorten it (I did this once and ruined a good belt - because, I could not easy get the belt end, through the buckle any more, the belt was too short).Look to see how many holes you have left. In my case none. This means that there were 5 extra holes, that I could not use. Each hole is one inch apart. So after I dissembled the belt, I removed 4 inches from the buckle end. I used my heavy duty scissors, that I bought just to open those annoying clear plastic cases, that everything seems to come in these days. The center of the belt is 3/4 of an inch (half of 1-1/2in). This is also approximately, the length from the newly cut end, to where the hole needs to be (just don't get any closer that 1/2in to the end, as it might pull out). Place the belt on some wood, when you drill the hole. I have a piece of wood I use as my backing to drill things through.Reassemble: The rough side is the inside. The screw head is inside, too. Reassemble. Done...

This is a really nice sturdy belt
This is a really nice sturdy belt. Should last a very long time. Love the color which goes well with anything. Its neither black nor dark brown but really kind of both. Nice finish. Didn't expect this much for what I paid.

Handsome Belt
Most belts have off color tanning, odd, quirky, "fashion" buckles or cost a lot. But this is a Nice belt. Great rich, dark brown color with slightly darker margins that I just noticed. Solid brass? hardware, not overdone but with good weight. Nice stitching. I've been waiting for a nice, affordable, attractive belt like this to replace another I still have for past 15 years. Solid leather...not laminate pieces that I didn't even know was a thing.

Slightly large, nice brown color
My husband normally has 32/24 belts, but had to size down to 30/32 in this one. The dark brown is very nice. It is dark, but not quite as dark as in the picture, which I was glad about. It is very thick and sturdy. Full grain leather all the way through. Hope it will last a long time.

Ideal belt for jeans.
Leather belts normally last for years and years. They become tatty or hopelessly out of date before they break. The last few belts I have bought have been supermarket belts and they do not last more than a few years, so decided to try something a bit better. This belt looks like a winner, seemingly good quality, simple, elegant and ideal for casual wear with jeans.

Good quality and it looks just like in the picture- though the smell of leather is strong and not very pleasant as leather normally is...
