You cannot get this at the store, urine sugar can be quite helpful
There are times when being able to measure Sugar in the urine is helpful. In the stores, you cannot get Diastix = urine glucose measurement. You can only get Ketostix = urine Ketone measurement. When the bloodstream sugar is >180, you will spill sugar in the urine and can be measured as a 1+ urine sugar on a ketodiastix from this company. If your sugar was averaging say 300 - 400 you might get a 4-5+ reading. While one can use a blood glucose monitor to get your blood sugar at that moment, it requires getting a monitor, a blood letting device and reading a manual on how to do the test. There are times when a urine sugar is more than enough. Recently, a patient of mine was placed on a Steroid Medication. This generally raises ones blood sugar, sometimes to a dangerous level. It was quite reassuring to him and me, when using these strips he could say that his urine sugar was negative. Lastly, in my Diabetic patients, sometimes a blood sugar is not enough. Measuring urine ketones with a Ketostix or the Ketodiastix can warn you that you are slipping into Diabetic Ketoacidosis.

Expired product shipped
I ordered these in August 2018 and they worked fine when I received them. Now in January 2019 the strips don't work and I notice they expired a month before they were shipped to me. Not cool.

Color carts off
Colors on unused strips do not match colors for negative on bottle label...this is basic stuff, makes one realize that maybe the results could be way off

I really like being able to test for both Glucose and Ketones ...
I really like being able to test for both Glucose and Ketones with one test strip. They were the only source I found for these so I am very happy that they had them. I ordered 3 boxes just to be sure I had them :)
