My trainer recommended this as a top-notch lightweight speed rope. It is the best I've seen. However, after trying it out, I realized that this is not a beginner's jumprope, so I will be ordering a heavier extra cable from Elite - and happily, Elite makes their cables easily interchangeable. The speed cable is just too light weight for my beginner's skills - which means that it's so light I have no sense or hand feel of where the cable is in mid-air when I'm jumping. With the heavier cable, I will be better able to judge where it is in mid-air when I spin it, which will help me coordinate my jumping. Once I get up to speed and fully coordinated, then I'll be ready for the speedier lightweight cable. :-)

The handles are sturdy and spin as advertised. I ordered the red and blank but the red is a little more on the deep pink side. Not a deal killer. I cut the rope a little short so be careful because once you cut it is a done deal!

Great rope! I am not a cross fitter or double under jumper just yet, but I’m learning. I will say I did order a thicker rope to practice from the actual manufacturer. But this rope operates smooth and my favorite part is it doesn’t have memory in the rope. I leave it curled up in its little bag inside my gym bag and it pops into shape every time.

I'm new to skipping rope and this rope made it easy to get started. I've had it for a week and love the intensity of the cardio workout I'm getting. I talked to some of my friends who are cross fit freaks and they spent way more for their jump ropes. This one is a great value.

Straight from the package one of the handles seems to be warped a little when holding and spinning in my hand but it is still functional. Not sure if this would be something that would eventually happen to the handle anyway. The other handle will spin freely for over 5 seconds opposed to the warped one that will only spin freely for about one second. I would send it back right away but seems to work okay and I'm ready to start using it either way.

Starting need to skip rope as part of CrossFit and this has been a great rope for me. Still struggling with my double-under but can keep a good rhythm with singles as this rope feels really balanced and the handles spin super smooth. No issues yet, highly recommend for anyone who wants to drop a little coin on a nice rope.

It is a nice rope, but the included cable is no good outside. You must use a light foam mat. The outdoor cable wears away quickly on textured concrete as well.It is made of aluminum so you have to be careful not to step on the cable and yank the handles or it will tweak out the joints. Stainless steel would have been a better design.

I'm 5'7", I had to cut a lengthy amount off, it took a while the cable is definitely durable. With the bearings you can get a great stride and consistency, it's my first jump rope and I'm happy with it. With sweat the handles may get a little slippery but it's easy to handle.

Came in SUPER quickly. The quality is amazing and it's really light. Works well :)

Amazing rope, its super lightweight and the bearings are crazy smooth. I've experienced zero kinking or twisting of the rope while using it. Only issue i had was the metal end cap on the fixed end of the rope was a bit sharp but a couple seconds with a file smoothed that out.

The rope is lightweight and does not get tangled as much some others I tried. However. the rope is loose through the hole and since there is no "stop" on the other side of the handle, it tends to move up and down along the hole. This is a problem as the rope does not stay taut all the time and will affect your rhythm. After buying this I found a youtube video from WODNation and their jump rope has a rubber stop on the inside of the handle that prevents the rope from travelling back and forth along the hole. That would have been a great addition to this.

spins fast, quality rope. Only thing I wish was different is the phillips head adjustment screws use a very small screwdriver that doesn't come with the product. Kind of annoying
