Shadow of a Lion Paperback – October 6, 2015

Fantastic work!Really a great read for something different, very strong storyline can't wait for more!!!!!!

An interesting tale of prince taunted by a demon while dark forces rise to claim him and his family. This novel belongs among such writers as David Clemence-Davies and Erin Hunter as it is told from the eyes of animals, despite the interactions with humans. Somewhat a niche book but very intriguing. A must read for anyone who loves to read or are fans of the Warriors Series or even The Sight and Fell.

When I was initially given a copy of this book by my friend I was skeptical. I’d never heard of the writer and from the premise I couldn’t help but think “The Lion King”. I almost didn’t give it a chance and I would have missed out on an excellent read. It’s an injustice for anyone to overlook this story and pass it off before giving it a chance. Between its dark backstory and a sacrifice to save one’s family it hits close to home and provide a good outlook on redemption and perseverance despite how the book ends (no spoilers here). This isn’t your typical fantasy novel.
