This item was bought due to its temperature range. I am using it for checking the temperature in a domestic Pizza oven as a prelude to running a mobile pizza buisness. The ease of use and the accuracy is fantastic. I can hold the trigger and check for hot spots as I move the twin lasers over the surface. Highly recommended.

I have not used it as yet, but only on cups of tea to try it out

The screw is so tight you cannot unscrew and without unscrewing how can you put the battery.Its terrible and after trying to unscrew for few times the shape of screw changes and you cannot even unscrew.

It will not give internal temperatures if you are pointing it at a reflective surface.. I am waiting to see whether it will work for what I really needed it for..I was disappointed as it will not track the heat of boiling water with a lid over it..nor much good for hot water bathing.

Fantastic, works as described!

Very easy to use on its basic setting. I'm using this to measure surfaces from 300 to 700 celsius so it being inaccurate by 5 - 10 degrees is no big deal for me. I imagine this has a greater effect at lower temps.

All my other thermometers plus the Flir thermal camera show the same temperature within half a degree in 21 degrees room temperature, this BT-50 can show 5 degrees error even at those low temperatures.I send it back

Très bon article, précis et rapide même si ce thermomètre comme tous les thermomètres infra rouge, nécessite de connaître ce que l’on mesure. La mesure dépend beaucoup de la matière. Ainsi, on pourra mesurer des températures de 0 à 6 degrés sur différents produits stockés dans un même frigo ou des températures corporelles de 18 à 41* sur une même personne, si on ne prend pas soin de corriger l’emmisivité.

infrarotthermometer mit sehr gutem messbereich und vielseitigen einstellmöglichkeiten. durch den einstellbaren emissionsfaktor können theoretisch auch blanke metalloberflächen gemessen werden, allerdings sollte man da den emissionfaktor für ein bestimmtes material empirisch ermitteln, an flächen mit bekannter temperatur.
