GOFAR OBD2 Device - Save Time & Money With Business Mileage, Check Engine, and Gas Monitoring

When they sold this it was a piece of hardware and an app that let you download your data.Then they changed the deal, and don't let you download the data unless you pay them every month.I hope they get sued out of existence. Do not buy!

I bought Gofar about a month and it's awesome. It was easy to install and it’s saving me time and money. For those like me who drive their own car for work purposes, the business expense feature is excellent since I no longer have to keep a manual log. I’m also actively using the fuel economy feature. I definitely recommend it!

So disappointed this device refused to connect to my phone. I used this item before when I purchased it on Kickstarter with no issues, but this is ridiculous. I spent 4 hours trying to connect this in every which way but this is ridiculous

Was looking forward to the potential of the product as I am an independent contractor and need to count my miles. But since my first trip it stopped recording and tech support has yet to help and it’s been over a week. The time I waited I lost track of miles and instead just downloaded an app, oh well.

commute a good distance for work every day & like knowing the amount of miles attributed to work vs personal. having a realistic fuel cost is very beneficial and insightful for budgeting . in the past i have tried to track this stuff manually but often forgot to log the data upon arriving at my destination leaving me with incomplete/skewed data. gofar makes this very very easy to keep track of without even having to think about it.i am a past user of a similar product from automatic & switched to gofar because automatic switched to subscription based revenue model, on top of charging for the actual product, and gofar is just pay for the hardware and youre set.some of the features i have found from gofar that automatic didnt have (at least when i was a user of it):- custom tagging capabilities for trips- scheduling options for your vehicle- more detailed logging from the car ecu & visualizations- custom fill-up entriesfeatures missing from gofar that automatic has- web dashboard (which i believe there will be one in the future)ordered from the actual gofar website and took several times contacting support to finally get it after 2 & 1/2 weeks after placing the order. should have just ordered from amazon... other than that, really enjoy the product

I was involved with the campaign funding for this project and after 4 years mine is still going great and it's getting better every update. It's great especially I travel 80 miles a day and gives me great information on where I can improve on my driving. Also no monthly fees and works seamlessly in the background.
